Some people teach that the devil cannot touch or harm or even kill a born again Christian.
If that is the case why then are there so many deaths and sicknesses and accidents and every kind of affliction in the children of God?

Brother there are many casualties in this war (often times its faith hope and charity that are the first casualties). My view might be differnt than some but in my mind we still strangers and pilgrims looking for that heavenly city. Its when we make this old world our home that we lose. The comforts of a soldier are few my friend but they are everlasting.

Troy Day I would say that I believe in the scripture, “greater is he that is in me than he that is in this world.” A Christian is indwelt by the Holy Spirit. So I don’t know about a Christian being possessed. But oppressed/or influenced is another thing. A demon can’t have a Christian. But a Christian can have a demon as far as oppression goes. Spiritually, I don’t know how that works but I do know that in my own life in the past I have dealt with oppression and sin that I just couldn’t seem to get away from. And I’m convinced that there was spiritual warfare in my life. But I submit to God, resist the enemy and he has to flee.
