Scripture: Ephesians 2:14 – For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall… (NASB)

Observation:

Have we ever thought about how to breaking down the walls that separate us on this earth, walls that keep us from truly loving each other…I remember one night in the fire house, when the subject of the young man who my daughter was dating came up – you see he was an African American and some of the “white” guys could not understand how I would allow that –I asked a simple question to them – would it be better if she dated a white guy who beat her than an African American who would treat her right?”

The sad reality was that their answer was the white guy… it is this kind of thinking and living that causes walls to be built between people… and what about the wall that we may have built between ourselves and our God… how high have we built it? Today’s verse shares that He made both groups one, and has broken down the barrier of the dividing wall… He wants to tear down the wall between us and Himself, so why not restore your relationship with Him today.
