      There are so many theories about the origin of demons. I will honestly say that I really don’t know for sure but we do need to help people with demonic problems regardless of where they came from.

    Demons are the disembodied spirits of the hybrid children of angels and men.

      Ricky, the Nephilim were not disembodied spirits.Once they died, that was it for them: snip, They are dead, they will not live;
      they are shades, they will not arise;
      to that end you have visited them with destruction
      and wiped out all remembrance of them.

    Does not matter.
    They oppose us and we stand against them.
    On the basis it did not matter to me where they come from.

    In the name of Jesus

      No, it really doesn’t.
      Why should it matter?
      Jesus gave us power and authority over the enemy, satan, the devil, his tricks, tools, fiery darts, whiles, the world, sicknesses, diseases, principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world, spirit wickedness in high places, as well as others….

      So again, in view of salvation and eternity
      Why does it matter?

      Fixing a soul,
      Where to start.
      Great thought and question.
      Jesus, salvation through Him,
      first and final answer.
      What we do to get the person to that point of realization is them, not the spirit influencing them from outside or within.

      Do you realize that Jesus only “Asked” one spirit it’s name for “defining origin”, as you put it. Jesus totally ignored it’s answer.
      Why?
      Why do you believe that Jesus ignored the answer to the very question that Jesus initiated?

      Within that question and answer lays a truth that will awaken new understanding for you.

      Now as far as the smoking car,
      There will be a tell-tell sound long before the visible smoke, to the discerning and trained ear that is.
      I have known several mechanics most were family members that could diagnosis a car problem by listening to it.

      It appears the smoking car is limited to sight and visual recognition.

      Where is the discernment?

      I have casted several devils out, demons for the theology of some.
      Why, how?
      Why?, Simply because they were trespassing and did not belong.
      How?, by the power that lives inside of me by Him who abides inside of me.

    The nature of demons: They are evil (Judg. 9:23; 1Sam. 18:9-10). They are intelligent and wise (1Ki. 22:22-24 Acts 16:16). They are powerful (Mk. 5:1-18). MT. 12:43When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ On its arrival, it finds the house vacant, swept clean and put in order. 45Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and dwell there; and the final plight of that man is worse than the first. So will it be with this wicked generation.

    But they are not “current” believers.
    Please notice the house is found
    “empty”
    upon his return.

    And if we use the terminology “sealed” instead of filled or indwelling, can a devil or demon cross or enter what God has sealed?

    When they manifest it is too late to discern.
    True Spiritual discernment is before manifestation where everyone sees and knows.
    True Spiritual discernment is seeing what lays beneath the surface before it is revealed to any and all those present.

    The Spirit will direct you in those situations by the Spirit of discernment. We also will be prepared through prayer and fasting with our Spiritual awareness heightened.

    The genuine Spirit within us will alert us to any impostor(ing) spirits and how to deal with them.

    Each person, spirit, and devil/demon is different and has to be handled that way.

    I think it was bro. Robert Borders who testified attending a service where multiple active church pastor would be manifesting demons in the prayer for deliverance line. If demonic infestation is occurring in such level we may be better off casting out from all instead of splitting theological hairs while the demons are left alone to freely infest church folk

    I totally agree with you as long as we distinguish believers and Christians from pastors, church folk, members, attendees, and etc.

    Before we go around casting out spirits we need to go back to your reference in Matt 12:43-45 and realize that unless those who are delivered fill their house and then live in a way to keep it, themselves filled they will become worse off and are better left alone until they are willing to make it stick.

    I do not cast the spirits out of everyone I come across who needs to be delivered. I have made that mistake a couple of times with disastrous effects.

    I take special note that Jesus did not command every spirit to not return unto a body/house like He did this one
    Mark 9:25
    When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

      And as far as casting out every demon He came into contact with;
      We can’t assume that,
      Mark 6:4-6
      But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

      There were, possibly, believably devils there not dealt with.

      But just speculation.

      Here are some thoughts,
      Did He command them all demons not to enter in again?
      Is that not the individual’s personal choice?
      Why did Jesus not say it to all of the devils He dealt with?

    disembodied spirits were created without flesh and bone ( without bodies). Look at my hands and my feet and see who I am! Touch me and find out for yourselves. Ghosts don’t have flesh and bones as you see I have.” When were these disembodied spirits ( demons/Ghost) created is unknown. Perhaps , they were created before the world began and were there to hear God announce and promise to give eternal life to men! 2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
