~The Bridegroom Is Coming~……… Joseph Mackiewicz

2 Corinthians 11: 2–
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have ESPOUSED you to one HUSBAND, that I may present you as a chaste virgin TO Christ.

Psalm 19: 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

The one husband espoused to believers is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. All born again believers are espoused to Him and are to live as a chaste virgin, ready to meet the bridegroom at his coming for them. Messiah will present believers to His Father in heaven, as a chaste virgin. We are members of His body and a part of the one new spiritual man in Christ.

Romans 2: (KJV)
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God

God will not forget His covenant promises to His people.
Believers have a call to persevere in order to be presented as holy, to the Father.

Jude: 17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. 20But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy FAITH, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 KEEP yourselves in the love of God, looking for the MERCY of our Lord Jesus Christ UNTO eternal life. 22And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.—
24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to PRESENT you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

There will be only one general gathering of redeemed Gentile believers, along with Messianic believers, consisting of those dead in Christ and those living, then, who have made themselves ready at the time of His coming for the saints in the clouds. These are to be caught up with him in the air and together with all redeemed saints in the day the Father tells His Son, “it is time to go get the Bride.”. He will receive her to take her to the Father’s house, as was the custom of Jewish bridegrooms. The wedding chamber had to be prepared by the bridegroom before he received the bride to take to his Father’s house for the presentation. (John 14:1-3)

God has been building his spiritual house on earth of living stones and will do so until the time of his appearing. Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”.–Psalms 127:1

“Abraham “looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God” (Heb. 11:10). Abraham understood our citizenship is not of this world as it is from above. We are in this world, but are not of this world.

We, as reconciled believers, are espoused to the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5 reveals to us a beautiful picture of the bride and her bridegroom, just as we are as members of his body. We look for that spiritual city also, as the redeemed of the nations will also be a part and walk in the light of it.

Eph. 5:
29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Note again Jesus is revealed to us as having a glorified body of flesh and bone, not flesh (and blood), as no blood is needed for a new glorified body but his blood was shed that we might be born again and one day be glorified with a spiritual body like his. Until then, we are joined to him, by grace through faith, when made new creatures in Him. We will be literally joined, in union visibly with him, when He returns to take us to be presented to the Father, at the Father’s house for the marriage consummation of the Lamb. Seven days were spent in the marriage chamber while the guest celebrated. The Bride will have perfect rest in He who is her salvation and (eternal sabbath rest) for all eternity.

In order to be the pure and spotless bride of Christ, we must be glorified and changed to be like him. We will be as a bride adored for her husband when he returns to receive his jewels at his second coming, the ingathering of all the redeemed at that point in time. There will be a gathering of His chosen people after he returns, who shall know him and be the polished Jewels He intended from the beginning. Zechariah 9: -6 says, “The LORD their God will save them at that time as his very own flock of people, because they are his crown jewels, exalted throughout his land.”
“And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign on his land.”

REGATHERING OF ELECT ISRAEL IN THE DAY OF THE LORD-From the 4 Corners/Winds Of The Earth–The dry bones shall revive and live again in that day.

Ezekiel 37:9–“Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Come from the FOUR WINDS, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.”‘

Isa. 11: 12: “And He will lift up a standard for the nations And assemble the banished ones of Israel, And will gather the dispersed of Judah From the FOUR CORNERS of the earth.”

Matt. 24: 31–“”And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Mark 13:27–“And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven. Note–This speaks of the elect Jews who were scattered and dispersed to the four corners of the earth among the nations.
.
Zephaniah 3: 20 says, “At THAT time will I bring you AGAIN, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.”. God regathered Israel once, but will do so again in the last days.

Zechariah 8: 8: ” I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem, where they will be My people, and I will be their faithful and righteous God.”

At that time will I bring you AGAIN, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among ALL people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, said the LORD.

Ezek. 11: 27 says, “Therefore declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you from the countries to which you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel.”

Ezekiel 28: 25 speaks of the future restoration of the House of National Israel.
25This is what the Lord GOD says:‘When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they have been scattered, I will show Myself holy among them in the sightof the nations. Then they will dwell in their own land, which I have given to My servant Jacob. 26They will live there securely, build houses, and plant vineyards. They will dwell securely when I execute judgments against all around them who treat them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God.’”…

…” On that day the Lord will extend His hand a SECOND time to recover the remnant of His people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. 12He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exilesof Israel; He will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth. 13Then the jealousy of Ephraim will depart, and the adversaries of Judah will be cut off. Ephraim will no longer envy Judah, nor will Judah harass Ephraim”

Isaiah 54: 7: “For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion I will bring you back.”

Isaiah 56: 8: “Thus declares the Lord GOD, who gathers the dispersed of Israel: “I will gather to them still others besides those already gathered.”

Jeremiah 32: 37–“Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:”

The New Jerusalem of God is both a City of God that will descend from heaven after the earth is renovated and is also called “the bride of Christ” as all the redeemed will have access to walk in the light of that city. The Lamb is the light of that city in the future day, and our Lord God.

Joel 2 is one of my favorite chapters to read, as to restoration of the Jews and return to their homeland. Notice the term, “the bride out of her closet” in Joel chapter 2. The word closet is also used for our place of prayer, in Matt. 6: 6. Then read the words of Jesus to the Jews telling them to seek first the kingdom of heaven. He then tells them things the nations (Gentiles) seek after, and these truths: 36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will RETURN FROM from the WEDDING; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he COMETH SHALL find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. The consummation of the wedding of the bride will be in the Father’s house, as I see it, and he will return back and regather the Jewish remnant in their promised deliverance (in the day of the Lord) to fulfill all promises.

Isaiah 26: 20 is a prophetic call to Israel to enter their chambers, pray, and be protected until the indignation is over.

20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: HIDE thyself as it were for a little moment, until the INDIGNATION be OVERPAST.
21 For, behold, the Lord cometh OUT OF his place to PUNISH the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Remember when the destroying angel was to go through the land of Egypt, God’s people were told , “not to go out at the door of their houses until the morning?” –Exodus 12:22.

In the coming day of the Lord’s vengeance, I believe those of the Revelation 12 woman (National Israel) will be hidden and protected in the mountain stronghold of the wilderness near Moab/Petra/Jordan area. Moab will escape the Antichrist and from what I see, snd will be the protector of Israel during part of the time of tribulation. God speaks to Moab in Isaiah 16: 3- 4, and says, “to hide the outcasts, bewray not him that wandereth.” ” Let my outcasts dwell with thee, Moab, be thou a covert for them from the face of the spoiler; for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, oppressors are consumed out of the land. At this time in the future, the Antichrist would take over this land of Moab, but news of war out of the north and east will hinder him, as we read in Daniel 11: 44. When he returns with the intent to harm the Jews, the remnant of Moab left will be very small and weak but God intervenes and destroyers the spoiler.

The righteous indignation is that of God upon a sinful world at the end. A the Israelites were protected when the death angel was caused to pass through Egypt, God’s people (as to the 1/3rd Jews) will have a place of safety prepared for them to hide, until his indignation be passed over. God will have a cup of INDIGNATION as we read about in Revelation 14: 10: 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

His INDIGNATION is defined as “orge” and means from 3713; properly, desire (as a reaching forth or excitement of the mind), i.e. (by analogy), violent passion (ire, or (justifiable) abhorrence); by implication punishment:–anger, indignation, vengeance, wrath.

This is the day of wrath, of His vengeance, that the Lord told believers to pray to be worthy, “to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of man.”. His wrath is defined as his justifiable vengeance and indignation against a sinful world. His people have promises and can hide themselves as the Revelation 12 woman, National Israel, will do. She will have a place prepared for her safety in the mountains and be cared for, then refined and purified, and shall know the Lord as her Savior and call him, ‘ISHI”…”my husband” in the future day, when reconciled. In that day, God will no longer hide his face from her as before. On the day Gog is defeated, Israel will know the Lord from that day forward, and the Lord’s face will no longer be hid from her.

Isa. 62: Promise of restoration and reconciliation–

“For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.2 And the Gentiles shall see THY righteousness, and all kings THY glory: and thou shalt be called by a NEW name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name. 3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy LAND shall be married.

5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. 8 The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast labored. 9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness. 10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard (BANNER) for the people. 11 Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation COMETH; behold, his REWARD is with him, and his work BEFORE him.

12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The REDEEMED of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A CITY not forsaken.”

Isaiah 49 states: 22 Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring THY (Israel’s) sons in their arms, and THY daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me. 24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?
25 But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will SAVE thy children.

Promise to Israel for last days..Ezekiel 39–

25 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

27 When I have brought them again FROM the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28 THEN shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

29 Neither will I HIDE my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God.

As we can see from these prophetic Scriptures, the Jews of National Israel will not all know the Lord UNTIL they are regathered, from out of the countries they were scattered. These countries are referred to as ‘graves” for those living in that day to be regathered to their homeland.

Ezekiel 38: 15 tells us, “And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O GOG, before their eyes.
17 Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou “he”of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?”

QUESTION– Who do you think the “he” refers to in these Scriptures that the Prophets of the Old Testament spoke of, whom God would bring against Israel in the last days?
This is the same person, as “he” above.
22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

Compare Revelation 8: 7 to verse 22 above: “The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.”

Also….Compare these Revelation Scriptures: 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

********
I believe the problem is that some do not understand that God hid his face from the nation, as a whole, except individually, when one received Him through the Gospel they heard. God then turned to the Gentiles, who are a part of the one new man in Christ, consisting of both Jew and Gentile now. We have been grafted in.

Yet, National Israel, as a whole, has not yet accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. Most will not do so until He appears on this earth, to defeat their enemies, which time is after the Lord returns to the earth (with his raptured bride), the saints, and holy angels.

Those He promised could be spared from the wrath to come and his vengeance were believers, both Messianic and Gentile, accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, as the church of the redeemed. Those living of National Israel are gathered together when the times of the Gentiles have ended. There will never again be a treading down of Jerusalem by the Gentiles, again. He promised to gather these from the four winds (but not not for a rapture or harpazo event) but to gather them back to their homeland. These are the dry bones in Ezekiel who were scattered to the north, south, east, and west, or the four corners (winds) of the earth. God will regather this class of the elect Jews who will not be in the Judea area, as those who will flee, and bring these Jews back to the Palestine-Jerusalem area, of both houses.

This promise of regathering, again, as after the captivity; will result in national reconciliation and salvation. That day is drawing nigh. We must be prepared to meet the Lord at all times, for we know not what tomorrow will bring. However, we do know who holds all our tomorrows and holds us in the palm of his loving hand. In Him, we can safely trust.

Blessings in Him,
