No such word a rapture in the Bible! According to the RCC it’s a state of mind! In reality it is the translation of the Saints that is those who have been immersed in the unaltered form of Acts 2:38 and received the remission of sin and the assurance of salvation speaking in tongues after immersion! The dictionary form of this Greek verb is harpazō (ἁρπάζω).
The Latin rapiemur is Saint Jerome’s translation of the Greek word ἁρπαγησόμεθα. This is a faithful translation, using a form of the Latin verb rapiō, “to catch up” or “take away”. […]
“Rapture” is an English noun derived from the Latin verb rapiō, with a literal meaning of “I catch up” “or “I snatch” (from the infinitive form of the verb rapere, “to catch up”; “rapture” is also cognate to the English words “rapids”, “ravish”, and “rape”).
Bible versions – English Bible versions have translated Jerome’s rapiemur (“we shall be caught up”) in various ways:
* The Wycliffe Bible (1395), translated from the Latin Vulgate (405), uses “rushed”.[9]
* The Tyndale New Testament (1525), and then the Bishop’s Bible (1568), Geneva Bible (1587) and King James Version (1611) have “caught up”
* The New English Bible, translated from the Greek uses “suddenly caught up” with this footnote: “Or “snatched up.” The Greek verb ἁρπάζω implies that the action is quick or forceful, so the translation supplied the adverb “suddenly” to make this implicit notion clear.”

required by G-d 🙂 OK I am changing my terminology to the pre-Trib requiring of the church. I’ve been so long trying to tell Ricky Grimsley that the pre-Trib rapture is a requirement for salvation 🙂 Just read the Scriptures

Classical Pentecostals often taught that when Jesus breathed (emphysao) the Spirit upon the 10 apostles (and other believers present at the time?) in His first meeting with them after the Resurrection (John 20:21–23), they were at that moment “born again” (John 3:5), or, in Pauline language, “regenerated” (Titus 3:5).
More recent Bible scholars have an increasing appreciation for the life-giving power explicit in the Old Testament usage ofemphysao (cf. Genesis 2:7; Ezekiel 37:9) and view this event as the anticipated climax to Jesus’ teaching about the life-giving Spirit throughout John’s Gospel.16 It is by no means exegetically and theologically far-fetched to think of the apostles and (the inner circle of believers) as being “born again” at this time. It has to be entire sanctification and it counties through Acts every time someone was baptized in the Holy Ghost
Acts 2 the apostles waited tarrying for 10 days
Acts 8 the Samaritans waited tarrying since the preaching of Phillip
Acts 9 Paul waited tarrying for 3 days
Acts 10 Cornelius was led by the Spirit to wait and tarrying for 4 days
Acts 19 They’ve been waiting tarrying since they believed

Troy keep in mind the Apostles were the only ones immersed by Jesus later when He breath on them after the resurrection they received the assurance of salvation speaking in tongues! Any questions?
