Since the beginning of the 21st century, only 6-10% of new born believers in America receive the Baptism with the Holy Spirit, which by 2018 has resulted in:
- Over 60% within Global Pentecostalism do not speak in tongues
- A major doctrinal shift within Pentecostal Theology today claims speaking in tongues is not the only evidence of Holy Spirit Baptism
- Some theologians even claim there is no initial evidence in the Bible
- Others today go further to believe that no outward sign of the Holy Spirit baptism is necessary.
For this reason, WE are re-committing ourselves and ministry to revival and restoration of the Pentecostal Message through praying, fasting and preaching:
- Salvation of the sinner’s soul and entire sanctification through the Blood of Jesus
- Baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire with initial evidence of speaking in tongues
- Supernatural gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit
- Healing, deliverance and signs following
- Pre-Millennial return of Christ and pre-Tribulation Rapture of His Church to glory
Please consider the URGENCY of this generation!
Let us reason together what can we do to prevent this rapid decline in Biblical spirituality.

Speaking in Tongues in America Prior to the Azusa Street Revival of 1906
April, 1906 – The Azusa street revival swept the globe starting with California
January 1, 1901– The initial phenomenon of speaking in tongues occurred at Parham’s school in Topeka, Kansas
January 6, 1900 – Frank Sanford’s Shiloh school reported that “The gift of tongues has descended”
1896 – Over 100 people baptized in the Shaerer schoolhouse revival conducted by the Christian Union in the North Carolina mountains
1887 – People falling in trances and speaking in tongues were reported at Maria Etter’s revival meetings in Indiana
1874 – Speaking in tongues occurred during healing meetings reported in New York
1873 – William H. Doughty and the Gift People of Rhode Island spoke in tongues
1854 – V. P. Simmons and Robert Boyd reported tongue speaking during Moody’s meetings

When we separate the baptism of the Holy Spirit from conversion, we end up with second-class citizens in the kingdom of God. But as the Lord has poured out His Spirit on all His people, this is impossible. Christians may be at different points in their sanctification and level of Christian maturity, but no Christian lacks the Holy Spirit in his life. Let us be encouraged by this, for it means that we will certainly grow into conformity to Christ.

Mike Partyka I am really NOT sure where to pick it up in such case Pentecostal theology IS experiential NOT just theoretix You have to have the experience to understand the theology IF you were saved and did not seek sanctification you will not understand 2nd work of grace per Wesleyan renewal And then how can you understand Holy Spirit baptism and speaking in tongues as 3rd work of grace? I don’t need an experience to let me know God is real. The fruit of one’s conversion follows in their justification. One cannot truly be saved and then not seek sanctification.

Troy Day I disagree with the Wesleyian understanding if Sanctification as a second work. Sanctification of our spirit man comes when we receive the Holy Spirit at the New Birth. Then, sanctification of one’s mind, will and emotions (which comprise the soul) progresses through out life as we renew our minds to God’s Word concerning who we now are in Christ, with perfected new creation spirits.
The actual second work of the Holy Spirit, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, besides giving us power, setting us on fire for the Lord, and equipping us to witness and for service, also helps facilitate the progressive sanctification of one’s soulish realm, working out one’s salvation so that one is more and more (from glory to glory), like one’s perfected, sanctified spirit.
That was my experience. I knew I received the Holy Spirit when I was Born Again, but I didn’t catch fire and become effective for the Lord until the Baptism several years later. Devotional tongues used frequently each day keeps us sensitive to the Holy Spirit and opens spiritual doors.

Whether or not one sees tongues as initial evidence, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with devotional tongues (prayer language) is absolutely essential for effective growth in all areas supernatural and in growing to one’s highest potential to fullfill one’s destiny.

I was born again when I was 6 years old, ten years later I started attending a baptist church where I learned a lot of doctrines but something was lacking. When I was 18 years old I attended a meeting at an Asembly of God and that was my first encounter with the power of God, I didn’t understand what was going on but I could feel that God was there in a powerful way, months latter in a foursquare gospel church I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and this brought a new dimension in my life. Definitely the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a MUST and yes is a second blessing different to being born again and I think new believers need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit immediately after they are born again.

Gerardo de Dominicis Thank you for your testamony, Gerardo. Baptised in the Holy Spirit are least soon thereafter. It’s good for new believers to be taught a little first, but, yes, it is a must.

Troy Day I don’t consider my self a Pentecostal but I think the “Pentecostal experience” is for all the believers and is the only way the church can fulfill the great commission. Also I’ve seen that one of the main objections made by “historical” denominations against the validity of the modern Pentecostal experience is the lack of order and the excess in some Pentecostal churches and is something that has to be addressed.
