Luke 21:8 “And He said, Take heed that you be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ;…”
But how do we do that?
How do you become ‘not deceived’?
This is the challenge for the church today.
Study THE WORD deeply get into the hermeneutics of what is said.
Be careful that you only hold THE WORD in high regards and not what your favorite author/minister/bishop/prophet as high as THE WORD.

*Check your Jesus*
I ask you to consider the possibilities of what I am proposing.
All power signs and lying wonders from false prophets are carried out by demons. They enter the “temple” when someone believes their lies and make desolate that “temple” carrying them away in the flood of deception to destruction. What comes out of the mouth of the false teachers and preachers? We see in Rev 16: Revelation 16:13-14 KJV

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Two things I believe is happening:
#1 we have people that follow after signs and wonders believing that everything supernatural is from God. (I believe in the supernatural working of God but I check and discern those spirits not blindly receive them)
#2 we have a compromising social ecumenical gospel that lowers Jesus to the level every other religious figure.
The compromising gospel will set its believers against the True believers believing that they are the problem in the earth and should be done away with.
I believe we miss a lot of what the book of Rev is trying to show us when we only look for natural explanations.

Rev 12 Vs 15 serpent spewed water out of his mouth that he would cause her to be carried away. Again, what comes out of the mouth? Words. I believe this is a picture of false doctrines carrying people away to destruction. *[[2Co 11:3-4]] KJV*v 3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. v 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. * When one believes this “other” gospel they receive this “other” spirit and are really following this “other” Jesus which is anti-Jesus. “Anti” does not only mean against but “instead of” or “in place of” Jesus is implied.
This mystery of iniquity is already at work. This is the great falling away that we are told would come.
Check your Jesus. Which one are you following?
He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

I believe the scourge is taking place.
There was a time when a new born saint of God got saved, they wanted to live like forefathers they wanted to serve Jesus Christ at any cost. They longed to hear the word of God they would go to Revival wanting more of the word of God and seeking his face
But now the cares of this life have caused the interest to Wayne they have so much interest that they cannot get time to pray and meditate and read God’s work
So many are reading the words on the wall singing the words off the wall and that it’s the only gospel they get through the whole week so many are satisfied. Or just one day a week and it gets him through and we wonder why the church does not overcome like it once did we wonder why the church is Father spiritual and it once was
One of the things I see in the lot of churches is they no longer respect the elders of the churches and their beliefs silently they deny the beliefs of the elders silently not silently they are driving a lot of Elders out of their churches and they’re missed how by the music play blame it on the elders not going along with the times but the elders would be compromising their convictions if they did

Good word Scotty Take heed that you be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ

WE should dully noticed that modern day liberal preachers go around claiming extraterrestrial knowledge like Pete Fiske instead of preaching the CROSS Jesus warned us all against such

It then becomes a question of IF we are able to uncover Scripture as good as the Holy Ghost wants us to

I love good preaching. I could listen to good singing also., Spirit anointed. The Lord loves singing. You read to much about it in the Bible. He also loves good anointed preaching. I could listen for an hour and longer to good Bible preaching. Jesus said preach the Word. Be instant in season and out of season. Reprove , Roebuck , with all long suffering and doctrine. I thinks means be ready to preach anytime. If you are called on.

I forgot. You like to know where it is in the Bible. It’s 2Timothy 4: 2. I like verse three also that explains it to me. Verse 3: says For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. But after their own lust shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. (4)And they small turn away their ears from the Truth. And shall be turned unto fables. ( I just kinda that’s where we are living now. Most or some of the people doesn’t want to heat the truth. They rather pay a preacher tickle their ears. That’s in Timothy I think about watching ears. Preach me something I can do what I what I want to hear. Preach the truth or don’t preach at all. You might have a lot of people going to their church. But do they know Who Jesus is. Have they been born again. Well I’m not the one to judge. But Jesus knowers.

That was suppose to be tickling their ears. I misspelled a few words. My mind is going faster than my writing. If you find understand sometimes. Just write back and ask. My daughter can fix it. But I haven’t learned how to do that.
