EXPERIENCING TRUE HOLY SPIRIT-LED REVIVAL

Churches in our full-gospel tradition will often schedule “revival” meetings with a “revivalist” as guest speaker. That isn’t revival. That is man-directed. True revival is Holy Spirit-directed and starts in the hearts of God’s praying people.
It just dawned on me that we are indeed in the midst of spirit-led revival at Lake Erie Church without having called it that or recognized it as such. There is a remnant among us that is coming out for prayer at church every Monday and Wednesday, and many of the same people come out every Thursday and Saturday for Erie Awakening meetings, myself included. God has been moving powerfully in all four meetings.
In the early church of the Book of Acts they met in the temple and daily from house to house. We are just about there.
Revival beginning in our hearts

And a key is that the revival is beginning in our hearts. There is a true gathering of Christian family that wants to seek the Lord together, and a love of the brethren like I have never experience before since being Baptized in the Holy Spirit nearly 50 years ago.
I asked the Lord in prayer for confirmation that this is revival. He spoke to my heart: “Yes, I’m not about reviving institutions, but about reviving My people. That is what is happening. Even as judgment starts with the house of the Lord, so does revival.”
I sensed Him saying that as we have judged our own hearts and drawn near in prayer, we are being revived to awaken the church everywhere and to bring awakening of God’s truth in Jesus to the lost.
Will it last? I believe so, unless we try to take over what God is doing. It’s a sign of the times I believe. And while I don’t know this to be fact, I do believe similar revival is breaking out in many places as a part of an end-times awakening.
