Cornelius was not unlike many Muslims or Jews who have had dreams leading them to hear the message of Christ. Though he was a man who followed the law as a gentile, he became redeemed after Peter preached the Gospel. He also instantaneously received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and then was baptized in water.
