Another evil that is common among fake Christians is they pay no regard to the great works the Holy Spirit is doing in the lives of the saints.
They don’t know that the Holy Spirit is the living law, whom God has put in our hearts to obey. The nagging void in their hearts is as a result the absence of the Holy Spirit. This void continually makes them feel guilty, empty, naked and inferior, not matter what they do.
But because they haven’t tested the power of the Holy Spirit, therefore they neither know or seek Him. Instead, they ignorantly resort to self-righteousness, which amounts to covering themselves with filthy rags. And it’s this their evil reliance on self-righteousness that make them think the Word of God is only do’s and don’ts

I don’t know if we can equate their ignorance of the Holy Spirit with evil. People we’re ignorant of the baptism of the Holy Spirit for over a thousand years. We should be inviting these people to join in with us instead of pushing them away!
I never knew because nobody ever told me, so tell someone!
