“Blessed is the one…whose DELIGHT is in the law of the LORD, and who MEDITATES on his law day and night.” (Psa. 1:1-2) [What are you meditating on, right now? “Meditate” means to wonder about or to imagine, we need to wonder about the beautiful word of God, we need to imagine ourselves “doing” the word and “seeing” the miraculous outcomes of our obedience! Our “DELIGHT” (which means: “the source of extreme satisfaction and great pleasure”) must be in the word of God!] “In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God. He was with God in the beginning. The WORD BECAME FLESH and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, THE GLORY OF THE ONE AND ONLY SON, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:1-2, 14) [Jesus the WORD of God came to reveal the word of God to us!] “You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures THAT TESTIFY ABOUT ME…” (John 5:39) [Anyone who wants to know Jesus; must search the scriptures; not just read them, and hear them, but search them, which means: *Diligence in seeking, laboring, and studying, and applying. *Desire of finding what we need to look for! We must, with purpose, seek for the spiritual benefit and advantage in reading and studying the scripture, we must search for the hidden treasures in the word!] “How can a young person [or any person] stay on the path of purity? By LIVING ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” (Psa. 119:9, 11) [Hiding the word in our heart is a sure way to daily live the word!] “Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.” [Precepts: “values’] (Psa. 119:27) [Our choice to live and practice the Word, will allow wonderful things to happen in our lives.] “The law [the word of God] from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.” (Psa. 119:72)
