hermeneuticsTHE ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN HERMENEUTICS

This was one of the first great discussions we had in this group with:

  • Rev. David M. Hinsen
  • Dr. Greg Robinson of Regent
  • Dr. Marvin Elliott
  • Senior Pastor Luchen Bailey
  • Lead Pastor Dimitar Luchev
  • Dr. Michael Postlethwait and many others.

Unfortunately, a group member reported it as inappropriate and is now banned on Facebook. But we have it stored on our website. Visit the link, read the discussion and let us know WHAT has CHANGED in PENTECOSTAL HERMENEUTICS since we last discussed the topic in this group:

I remember well that Rick Wadholm Jr brought Leonard Sweet into the discussion producing the help-pastor-preaches-too-long thread http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/help-my-pastor-preaches-too-long-ourcog/ which was followed by the eschatological urgency of the Gospel “The very notion of “preachers preaching too long” does not fit any Biblical paradigm in which the Church is entrusted to preach the Everlasting Gospel till the end of times” http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/the-very-notion-of-preachers-preaching-too-long/

Correction: I’m from VA 🙂

John Kissinger [12/08/2015 8:06 AM]
Corrected! You also have 3 x 10pg papers due this week so not much time for SPIRITUAL HERMENEUTICS 🙂

David M. Hinsen [12/08/2015 8:12 AM]
And a final…

John Kissinger [12/08/2015 9:17 AM]
not to be discouraging but speaking of a collective scholastic experience with Rick Wadholm Jr 3x10pg papers + a final will be impossible to pull without much prior research and preparation 🙂 #GODspeed

Rick Wadholm Jr [12/08/2015 9:17 AM]
🙂

John Kissinger [12/08/2015 9:18 AM]

John Kissinger [12/08/2015 11:13 AM]
