THE ” DAY OF THE LORD ” , EXPLAiNED
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Seventh Day: God Rests
(Exodus 16:22-36; Hebrews 4:1-11)
Genesis 2:1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
God created every thing in six days , the seventh was HIS day or His day of rest . It was 2,000 years from Adam to Abraham , 2,000 years from Abraham until Jesus and it has been 2,000 years from Jesus until today. That’s 6,000 years or 6 days to The Lord , the next day is THE DAY OF THE LORD or The 1,000 Year Reign of Jesus on Earth .This DAY starts with the Heavenly signs , Rapture / Resurrection , Wrath , Battle of Armageddon and ends with a New Heaven and a New Earth.

Joel 2:31 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood”, before “the great and the terrible day of the LORD” come.

Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation” of those days shall “the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light”, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30And “then” shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and “then” shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send “his angels with a great sound of a trumpet”, and they “shall gather together his elect” from “the four winds”, from “one end of heaven to the other”.
