Notice what the Bible tells us about LOVE.

“ABOVE ALL”
1 Peter 4:8
Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins (NRSV).

“LIVE IN LOVE”
Ephesians 5:2
and live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God (NRSV).

“GREATEST IS LOVE”
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love (NRSV).

“GREATEST COMMANDMENT IS TO LOVE”
Matthew 22:36-40
“Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” 37 He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” (NRSV).
