Period Reply December 24, 2016 Chad Steele Should any preacher Reply December 24, 2016 Street Preacherz Another question might be asked. Do you need a suit to preach? Is your identity or power in a suit? I think it’s best taken in context of culture. Would were a suit to a shooting gallery, where they shoot dope? Or say the jungle? So if there is some decency or modesty what the real issue? Is this a real question? Reply December 24, 2016 Michael Marquez May not be a good idea. May cause nightmares. Probably daymares too. Niles Skinny jeans look stupid on anyone Reply April 6, 2017 Varnel Watson Jimmy Humphrey sure likes talking about that early in the morning 🙂 Reply April 6, 2017 Jan Dixon Sykes A preacher shouldn’t be fat. Period. He is supposed to have the fruit of temperance. And not be a glutton. Nor “wrought the will of the Gentiles when we walked in…banqueting.” Reply April 7, 2017 Scotty Searan If a preacher shouldn’t be fat, then the members shouldn’t be either. Being fat does not mean you’re a glutton. Reply April 6, 2017 Varnel Watson Donald Trump is obese overweight… Reply April 7, 2017 Debbie Coone Is he your pastor? ANYBODY’S pastor??? Good grief Reply April 6, 2017 Jan Dixon Sykes Trump is not a spiritual leader. He is a secular leader. Be something else other than a pastor if you are obese. A plumber, an electrician, a mechanic. You can still be a Christian, go to church, etc, but not a spiritual leader. Reply April 6, 2017 Paul Jones Pastors and Christians have different life standards from the same Bible? Reply April 6, 2017 Jan Dixon Sykes James says leaders have to toe the line to be leaders: “Be not many masters, knowing that we receive the greater condemnation.”” Timothy says pastors have to be “blameless.” …….. We rank and file laymen are supposed to be transformed, too, but we are obviously still in process or we could be leaders, ourselves. Reply April 7, 2017 Scotty Searan Did Jesus make a distinction between his disciples and the multitude here? If one is required to do one thing, then all required to do the same. God is no respect of persons. Matthew 5:48 King James Version (KJV) 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Reply April 7, 2017 Jan Dixon Sykes That’s right, Scotty, NONE of us is supposed to be obese. People who are obese die about ten years ahead of those who are not. One of God’s promises to us is “if any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy.” So why would any leader model defiling the temple of God with too many junk foods and processed foods to the point of obesity? James clearly says the penalty is even greater for those leaders. Reply April 6, 2017 Hunter McLain No one should wear them skinny jeans. Christians should dress like The Bible says. Reply April 6, 2017 Jo Ann Wilson-Wheeler I think people focus on clothing too much (female as well)! If he is preaching the word of God and souls are being saved and the spirit is in the midst, who cares what they wear! There are a lot of heavy set Christians! Reply April 7, 2017 Hunter McLain Well God cares what we wear. He said to dress modestly. Reply April 7, 2017 Varnel Watson Well Jan Dixon Sykes Trump is after all commander and chief and needs to be in a good shape for the stability of our nation. Does he even jog @ 70? Reply April 7, 2017 Jan Dixon Sykes Troy, while Trump is fat, he is not John Hagee fat. And he only has to live another 8 years. He’s probably more likely to get shot. Reply April 7, 2017 Varnel Watson Jan Dixon Sykes Is this another prophecy of yours? Stan Wayne Reply April 7, 2017 Jan Dixon Sykes No, I was making a contrast. That’s all. I hope and pray Trump will serve 8 years with success. Reply January 6, 2019 Robert Erwine this should fall under the you should weigh less than the animal print that you are wearing category. Reply January 6, 2019 Dwayne Faircloth Why would a man much less a minister of tge gospel have a desire to were tight fitting jeans/pants, etc ? Should I say any more ? I remember thinking it. I visited a church when I took a trip this summer, and the man preacher looked like Joyce Meyer from the waste down in his skinny jeans. His message was good, as I recall. But he couldn’t pull the skinny jeans off– metaphorically of course. Reply January 6, 2019 Varnel Watson so now you visited J Meyers church too? Reply January 6, 2019 Link Hudson Troy Day No, I’ve just seen clips of her show. I was using her as an example of a middle aged woman. My only real connection with Joyce Meyer is that I met this young woman from church. My wife prophesied to her when she was in Hawaii that she would work with Joyce Meyers, which happened later when she went to the mainland. Reply January 6, 2019 Varnel Watson so you have pretty strong connection it seems Reply January 6, 2019 Link Hudson Troy Day I haven’t seen so much as a clip of Joyce Meyers in years.
