Arise, Be Ready and Available, with Prophetic Eyes to See – Ray E Horton

If you are a Christian, you have the Holy Spirit, with prophetic eyes. Many do not have eyes to see, but you do, if you will open your spiritual eyes to the big picture. Now is the time to use those eyes to see and believe what the Lord is doing in the world, and the role you have to play in it. Yes! You do have a role, and you can and will bear fruit for the Kingdom.

The God’s Word is speaking to you: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).

Keep your spiritual eyes on Him, and not the darkness all around, and be available to your Lord to join in bringing in the harvest and closing out this age. Jesus predicted these days, that “because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will grow cold” (Matt. 24:12). We see it all around us. So, raise up your heads, for the end is drawing near.

“The Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you

This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil” (John 3:19). Let us not fear, for this is as expected. Isaiah prophesied these times: “Arise, shine; for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you” (Isaiah 60:1-2).

Yes, darkness has been covering the earth and many people, but do not put your focus there and be depressed, but rejoice that we have the honor to be a part of the culmination of the age, being the light who is within us to drive back darkness, “snatching many from the fire” (Jude 1:23).

Let us put our eyes upon Jesus and come together in the unity of the faith, remembering that “Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish” (Eph 5:25-27).

Set Apart to Finish Preaching to All the World

Christ made the once and for all sacrifice, and He continues to wash His church with the Word, preparing the Glorious Church, His very bride. And the spread of that Word of Grace, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is accelerating as we rise up and are available for His Kingdom Advance.

For Jesus told us “this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matt 24:14). And we are His instrument with this glorious call. You are set apart! Rise out of complacency. You are empowered! Reconsecrate your life to His service, and He will show you what to do, and do it through you, as you spend time with Him and see the big picture with your spiritual eyes and listen to His still small voice within, and, with anointed ears, hear the Word that is going forth.

This is the day, this is the hour So open your eyes to see beyond – Awaken, arise, be ready to be used and bear much fruit.
