Russia’s Prophetic Destiny Unfolding With #Antichrist Rising Out of Rame

Ricky Grimsley [11/03/2015 2:54 PM]
Maybe out of the situation but its quite possible the antichrist comes from turkey

John Kissinger [11/03/2015 2:56 PM]
Togarmah is the Biblical name of Turkey, and what you propose is not a Biblical possibility with current political borders. But who knows how mid-eastern countries will unite in the ancient borders of the Eastern Roman Empire. Turkey has been seeking acceptance in the EU for a long time now. If approved, perhaps many other mid-eastern countries would want to unite with Turkey to form the Biblical coalition of the revised Eastern Roman Empire

Ricky Grimsley [11/03/2015 3:27 PM]
The antichrist is called the assyrian. So i think it is likely he comes from turkey or syria perhaps iran but given the current political situation turkey is more like since a coalition could form run by turkey. Syria seems unlikely. The antichrist kingdom will be a revised ottoman empire led by turkey in my opinion.

John Kissinger [11/03/2015 3:53 PM]
Assyrian is a broad, broad term 🙂

Ricky Grimsley [11/03/2015 3:58 PM]
True

John Kissinger [11/03/2015 4:00 PM]
And this is the Roman Empire around NT times. This prophecy is concerned mainly with its eastern leg –

Well erdogan sure fits the bill both biblically and spiritually. Turkey is pulling a lot of strings right now mostly unnoticed by the masses. So many are still looked at the eu to be the antichrist kingdom and its just way off. Its gonna be the ild ottoman empire with turkey leading.

John Kissinger [11/04/2015 5:27 AM]
#Erdogan probably does NOT fit the nuclear trend very well epecially when four Arab states have ceased to function: Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. All are at risk of being taken over by ISIS, which aims to become a global caliphate governed under shariah law

An approach to Bible prophecy I’ve heard a lot of recently is the idea that you have to interpret prophecies from the geographical perspective of where they were written. So, one approach to Nebuchadnezzer’s dream with the head of gold is that it deals with who will rule Babylon, which means Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Muhammad empire, and revived Mu ham madan empire, with ‘mixed’ in iron mixed with clay being the Hebrew word for ‘Arab.’ Revelation talks about decapitating Christians. Who decapitates people? Mus|ims. The ‘antichrist’ is seen to be the a supposed Mus|im madhi.

I saw that when he was candidate Trump. Wonder why it’s taking so long for evangelical conservatives to realize this and, to be honest, it seems to me they never will; they’ve become so religious, so caught up in their righteous agenda, they can’t seem to tell the fanatic from the insane.

Battle -O- Gog ‘round tha corner!

Gonna be great to see scripture fulfilled in front of the world’s eyes! (Ez.38-39)

Likely Anti-Christ is not part of this battle and he’ll only be revealed after the Rapture.

Trump’s words do seem crazy but look at who he is directing the tweet too … a crazy man who is the president of Turkey (Recep Tayyip Erdoğan) Who has openly declared he wants to be and bring back the caliphate.

When Trump is saying he is “friends” with the Chinese president or the North Korean dictator – this is just his way of “buttering them up for the slaughter!” (Meaning: getting what he wants in negotiating).

Was Bush crazy for saying he looked into the eyes of Putin and saw ….

The battle of Gog (Ezek. 38-39) & the battle of Armageddon (Rev.19; Zech. 12-14) are two different events.

    8 Summary Differences:

    1. ENEMY:
GOG -specific named countries – Russia & Islamic confederacy.

ARM. – most nations of the world led by antichrist

    2. BATTLE LOCATION:
GOG – mountains in northern Israel or north of Israel

    ARM. – Valley of Jezreel

    3. PURPOSE OF ATTACK:
    GOG – take wealth

ARM. – Obliterate Israel once and for all

    4. TIME OF EVENT:
GOG – before the Antichrist appears (ie. Before Rapture).

ARM. – at the end of the 7-year Great Tribulation when Jesus returns in the 2nd Coming.

    5. GOD’S WEAPONS OF DESTRUCTION:
GOG – fire & brimstone, hail, torrents of rain, pestilence, self-inflicted wounds.

ARM. – glory coming from Jesus’ face & a sword coming from his mouth will directly destroy all the evil armies.

    6. EARTHQUAKE:
GOG – destroys things in Israel

ARM. – greatest earthquake ever – destroys all the cities of man & causes all the islands to sink into the sea

    7. IMMEDIATE RESULT:
GOG – Israel uses the enemy army weapons for fuel for 7 years. Israel cleans up the enemy army dead bodies from the mountains for 7 months.

ARM. – The bodies & blood of the armies of the world fill the entire Jezreel valley up to the horses bridal. No cleanup is mentioned.

    8. END RESULT:
GOG – The nations & Israel will know that Yahweh has done this & is Israel’s God

ARM. – Jesus sets up his 1000-year Kingdom Reign based in Jerusalem & Israel repents & receives Jesus as their Messiah & God & all the nations are required to worship Jesus or receive no rain.

Robert Erwine Bring it on! This represents a 9th difference. In the battle of Gog it seems God will totally protect Israel before the armies reach into the heart of Israel. In the battle of Armageddon it is clear that many people will be killed, women raped and people taken into exile and people fleeing – just before Jesus returns in the second coming.

Troy Day The two battles are obviously two distinct events. As far as Russia, they have always had a hatred of Israel and they will be wiped out before the great tribulation. And Joel Rosenberg‘s book epicenter he interviews Russian generals and they openly speak of their plans to invade Israel. He reminds the reader of the six day war when Israel overran the enemy lines in Lebanon and found enough tanks and troop carriers and weapons to supply several battalions buried in northern Lebanon ready to attack Israel. These were too many weapons to supply Hezboallah; instead they were meant for Russian army to attack Israel. It took months for the Israelis to capture all the weapons and roll them across the border. Don’t forget that Russia committed terrible pograms against the Jews in the times leading up to World War II and even during and after World War II.

Breaking news: Russia hates Israel because they have now discovered huge quantities of oil which will flood the world market and reduce Russia’s influence in controlling oil and gas! This is the “spoil“ that Gog will be coming for.

This quote from your post thread at the end is definitely what I feel like the Lord has shown me in the last couple of years:
“So, one approach to Nebuchadnezzer’s dream with the head of gold is that it deals with who will rule Babylon, which means Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Muhammad empire, and revived Mu ham madan empire, with ‘mixed’ in iron mixed with clay being the Hebrew word for ‘Arab.’ Revelation talks about decapitating Christians. Who decapitates people? Mus|ims. The ‘antichrist’ is seen to be the a supposed Mus|im madhi.”

All the belief systems of the world are set up to receive the antichrist. The Hindus are looking for someone who claims to be God and has experienced: Moksha; The Muslims are looking for the Madhi; The secular humanists believe in: “Man is the measure of all things“ – the mark of the beast – 666 is “the number of man.“ The lukewarm Christians will receive him as the return of Jesus because he will be claiming to be the return of Jesus also.“

Is it true that in Arabic the word for Arab is a mix of iron and clay?

The antichrist will be excepted by all the peoples of the world because of the powerful delusion that will be sent in the world. This is the devils way of you 19 many disparate peoples.

The scripture when you have studied it properly clearly shows that the battle of Gog is a distinct event from the battle of Armageddon.

Why did you delete my post about the 9 differences of the two battles?

I know many UK Pentecostals who want to reject pre-Trin and move to post-mil but as more international activist you should have NO problem understanding what I am saying with this

Turkish operation may redraw map of Syrian and Cyprus
    Syria Could be Turkey’s Vietnam
Erdoğan may believe striking a blow against Kurds while confiscating their oil is a win for Turkey, but he is wrong: He is simply opening the door for a war of attrition that Turkey cannot afford and which it ultimately might lose.- we’ve discussed this before with Ricky Grimsley

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ISLAM?
While the territory in question is already outside Syrian government control, a Turkish incursion could mean the area switching from a non-hostile force – the SDF – to Turkey and rebels that have sought to topple Assad. Damascus has long viewed Turkey as an occupying power with designs on northern Syria. It has also at times suggested a willingness to strike a deal with the Kurds, though their last negotiations got nowhere.
Chaos could present Islamic State with an opportunity to stage a revival and the SDF has been conducting operations against IS sleeper cells since capturing its final territorial foothold earlier this year. Syrian Kurdish leaders have long warned that the SDF may not be able to continue holding IS prisoners if the situation was destabilised by a Turkish invasion. The SDF is still holding 5,000 IS fighters of Syrian and Iraqi nationality and a further 1,000 foreigners from more than 55 other states, according to the foreign relations department of the Kurdish-led administration in northern Syria.

Above is a good summary of current events. Indeed this may be what leads to the Battle of Gog. Surely, most of the players are heavily involved in the area. The Kurdish problem was created by the oppression of the Ottoman Empire and the subsequent failure of Britain & France to carve out a homeland for the Kurds who have existed for hundreds of years in Northen Iraq, Northern Syria, & Eastern Turkey. The US has every right to pull out of what should have been a limited engagement to eradicate ISIS. The way I see it, Gog, Persia, Togermath, et al. will use this chaos to attack Israel. This may come sooner than later. I also think the Four Blood Moons (Tetrad) in 2014-2015 was Gods warning this Battle of Gog was coming.

Neil Steven Lawrence HOW WILL THE KURDS BE AFFECTED?
The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have spent years expanding its control across northern and eastern Syria, helped by the U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State. A rare case of a winner in the Syrian war, the Kurds and their allies have set up their own governing bodies while always insisting their aim is autonomy, not independence. All of this could unravel with Turkey’s military advance. The SDF-affiliated Syrian Democratic Council has said an attack would trigger a new wave of mass displacement. For the SDF alliance, in which the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia is the dominant force, much will depend on whether the United States continues to keep forces in other parts of the northeast and east.
A full U.S. withdrawal would expose the area to the risk of more Turkish advances, an Islamic State revival, or attempts by Iranian- and Russian-backed government forces to gain ground. Confronted by the prospect of U.S. withdrawal last year, the Kurds beat a path to Damascus for talks over allowing the Syrian government and its ally Russia to deploy at the border. The talks made no progress, but such negotiations could be an option again in the event of a wider U.S. withdrawal.

Neil Steven Lawrence WHAT DOES TURKEY WANT?
Turkey has two main goals in northeast Syria: to drive the Kurdish YPG militia which it deems a security threat away from its border, and to create a space inside Syria where 2 million Syria refugees currently hosted in Turkey can be settled. It had been pushing the United States to jointly establish a “safe zone” extending 20 miles (32 km) into Syrian territory, but repeatedly warned it could take unilateral military action after accusing Washington of dragging its feet. President Tayyip Erdogan has recently talked about pushing even deeper into Syria, beyond the proposed “safe zone” region to the cities of Raqqa and Deir al-Zor, in order to allow still more refugees to return to Syria.

    HOW FAR COULD TURKEY GO?
The northeastern border region, currently controlled by Kurdish-led forces, stretches 480 km (300 miles) from the Euphrates river in the west to the Iraq border to the east. The immediate focus of Turkey’s military plans appears to be around a section of the border between the towns of Ras al Ain and Tel Abyad, which are about 100 km (62 miles) apart. A U.S. official told Reuters on Monday U.S. forces had withdrawn from observation posts there. As well as air strikes on Ras al Ain on Wednesday, a witness in Tel Abyad said the sound of explosions rang out there and residents fled. Although under the control of Kurdish-led forces, that part of the border has historically had a strong Arab presence. “It’s a region where the population is Arab and where Turkey has good ties with the leading groups,” said Ozgur Unluhisarcikli of the German Marshall Fund. If the YPG tries to hold territory there “it will lose a lot of blood,” he said.

Don’t forget, Turkey under Erdogen has a bigger goal of reestablishing the Caliphate – of which they were the main beneficiaries for 500 years. In Islamic history, the Ottoman Turks even slaughtered many Arabs in Arabia – for which the Arabs resent the Turks. In the Battle of Gog account (Ez. 38-39) the Arab countries seem to not be involved and even some of them (Dedan – Jordan & Sheba – Saudi Arabia) ask Gog, “Why have you come …. to take a spoil?”
