Duane L Burgess Years ago I went to his church. I saw that there was no cross anywhere. I asked him why. He said it would offend Jews. His preaching didn’t mention it either – For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Cor. 1:18 – I wonder if his continual selling of “pop” sensational pseudo-theological books offends the Lord. — BTW – they did give out visitor coffee cups which the handle fell off after like the second washing.
