This stands as an allegory for what? . . . Jesus Christ, as the “firstborn” of God’s children. This principle is fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Ricky Grimsley interestingly here HEISER asserts that God has 70/72 Sons whereas Jesus is different because is [first]born and the others are created. This is a very dualistic approach toward the Sonship of Christ which at least HEISER does not deny being eternal – from eternity and into eternity as the son of El Elyon
