I keep reading post that the commandment was only for Israel, And are nail to the cross, and that the Sabbath was not meant for for us to day. So what do we do with these verses?

Isaiah 56:1-8 King James Version (KJV)

56 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

4 For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

8 The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

    we entered His rest when we are saved. Rest from striving to be saved by works. His work saved us, not ours. However it is good to rest your body and mind once a week.

    The Ten Commandments are God’s Law of Liberty….These laws will not save anyone ….they tell us that we are sinners and in need of a Savior. If we love God we will want to abide in His Law….we will not want to murder….will not want to steal or lie etc and we will want to honor Him as our God…not want to take His name in vain …not want to worship other gods etc. Jesus is not the Sabbath…Jesus is the Lord /Creator of the Sabbath Who gave us the Sabbath Time to Remember Him as our Creator.

      Philip Williams well if I can refer to what Duane L Burgess said on another post – that the covenant is not with us but with Israel
      SO YES dual covenant theology
      its dual
      Its covenant
      And its theology

    Dual covenant theology is heresy.

    “Dual-covenant theology is unique in holding that the Mosaic covenant remains valid for Jews while the New Covenant only applies to non-Jews or gentiles.”

    No allegorizing, no spiritualizing, no replacement theology.

    Gentiles are wild branches grafted into the vine, Jesus; not grafted into Israel.

    Romans 9
    …who are Israelites,
    to whom belongs the adoption as sons,
    and the glory and the covenants
    and the giving of the Law
    and the temple service and the promises,
    whose are the fathers,
    and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh,
    who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.

    In the book of Romans Paul was writing to Jewish and Gentile believers. In chapter 9 he speaks to issues related to God choosing Israel; then gentiles. And that the Jews should not boast or question God.
    It’s not a passage to say that God has arbitrarily chosen all people through all time for either heaven or hell. It’s about the gospel going from Jews to gentiles. A common theme and tension in the New Testament that many- including Calvin, misunderstood.
    I would challenge anyone – to first – read a good article on Biblical hermeneutics; or read a small book on it- then to read through Romans chapters 1-11 in one sitting as a body of thought – and set aside man made theological constructs which tell you what to believe.
    You’ll be surprised what you’ll see when you do this with an objective approach.
    Those who respond and say this is not a corporately written section of Scripture because “nations are made up of individuals” reveal their theological bias. Because in saying this- nothing could ever be written in a corporate sense; because the entire world is made up of individuals.
