In my opinion, the Catholic tradition of exorcism has some flaws, as in putting too much weight on the heroic role of the priest. But it is still effective and should be studied by those in ministry. Here is a program that shows it at its best.
Many programs depict evil as real, of course. But only rarely do we see an unabashed presentation of practiced religion as the antidote.

Troy Day I have watched Bob Larsons ” exorcisms” on you tube and I can’t understand the use of the big metal cross he uses on his patients(he charges them and only patients are charged for services rendered by a doctor) but Jesus said freely you have received freely give..
But I guess you cannot blame Larson because the society he serves is used consultation fees culture just as where we live people are used to divination fees.

There seems to be a lacuna in Pentecostal literature on this matter. You’ve got a lot of rubbish, but serious treatises are very few. I’m only reminded of the book Power Encounter (ed. by O. L. Reddin). I’m really failing to find further material on this matter that would be really judicious and not just sensationalistic and plain creepy.
Catholics have their classical handbook… Traditional Catholic Rites Of Exorcism. Let me quote part of the First Prayer of Exorcism by Basil the Great that is included in that book:
> Grant that this my exorcism being performed in Your awesome name, be terrible to the Master of evil and to all his minions who had fallen with him from the height of brightness. Drive him into banishment, commanding him to depart hence, so that no harm might be worked against Your sealed Image. And, as You have commanded, let those who are sealed receive the strength to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and upon all power of the Enemy. For manifested, hymned, and glorified with fear, by everything that has breath is Your most holy Name: of the Father (+), and of the Son (+), and of the Holy (+) Spirit, now and ever and into ages of ages. Amen.

Hindus and Muslims and Jews and Buddhist ALSO do exorcisms just as the Catholics but true casting out of demons is done only by the Holy Spirit..
Do Hindus, Muslims, Jews and Buddhists use the Holy Spirit is their exorcisms?
That is why I don’t do exorcisms but cast out demons!
