The experience of becoming a Freemason is divided into three ceremonial stages that Masons call “degrees.” These three degrees are loosely based on the journeyman system, which was used to educate medieval craftsmen: entered apprentice, fellow craft, and master Mason. The degrees symbolically represent the “three stages of human development: youth, manhood, and age.”

Since its founding in the 1700s, Freemasonry has been both celebrated and also condemned by Christians and Christian churches.

Which Christian traditions and denominations prohibit or oppose Freemasonry?

The Catholic Church has been one of the oldest and most persistent critics of Freemasonry. Since 1738, Roman Catholics have been officially prohibited by their church from being Freemasons.

Numerous Protestant denominations have also taken a stance against church members being involved with the Masons. Examples of such denominations include:

While the Southern Baptist Convention has never issued a resolution about Freemasonry, in 1993 the denomination commissioned a report on the group from one of their agencies, the North American Mission Board (NAMB). The report accepted by the convention identified eight tenets and teachings of Freemasonry that, it concluded, were not compatible with Christianity.

Because many Southern Baptists—including pastors—were involved in Freemasonry, the report was widely criticized. In 2002, NAMB issued a follow-up report titled, “A Closer Look at Freemasonry.” The report concludes by noting that while many Christians and leaders have been and are Masons, “several points of the lodge’s teachings are non-biblical and non-Christian.” It also states that “while Freemasonry encourages and supports charitable activities, it contains both multireligious and inclusivistic teachings that are not Christian in its religious instruction.”

ABSOLUTELY NOT if you’re a true blood covered Christian in Jesus Christ!!!No more than a Christian who supports gay marriage, abortionNo, it is a documented fact that Masons worship Lucifer in fact their calendar lists the current year as 6020 A.L. anno lucis. Masons use the predominant religious book of whatever country the lodge in inorder to seduce the initiates into believing that the God whose existence of they must acknowledge as a requirement of acceptance inot masonry, is the God they already believe in. For more details consult the works of Albert Pike a mason and the ONLY Confederate General with a monument in Washington DC. Another tidbit is the Apotheosisof George Wsahington’ which is painted on the ceiling of the US capitol dome. Wsahington was also a mason and apotheosis means becoming god or godlike. This a a luciferian concept and is only taught to the uper echelons of the craft in order to keep their filthy deeds secret from as many as possible.

Absolutely! It’s what I do for a living! Masons in fact built most churches out there. However if your talking about free masons that’s something a little different. Although some food for thought free masons also build many churches back in the day when they began as actual occupational masons.

If the name “Christ” is a name of a leader, then anyone who follows Jesus, cannot call himself a “Christian”, for Jesus said not to call yourself any name of a leader, but any name of a servant. And Jesus said never to swear an oath (to bind yourself with an oath). Anyone who becomes a Mason will be required to bind himself with an oath, and so deny Jesus as Lord.

Freemasons are not Christian, I could spend all day explaining why…and like I said before, regardless of when you believe or I believe the pentagram was made evil or came to be…it is an evil symbol used today, the majority of the symbols the Masons use are evil today. You don’t have to listen to anything I say…do the research, read an actual KJV Bible outside of the Masonic one, compare everything…and if anything, you will atleast understand that what the Masons believe is far from Christianity. I only assume that you are one because you defend them…I pray that you do find the time to research the differences and see the truth…I actually urge you not to just listen to me but to seek Jesus and His Holy Word and listen to Him.
All you have to do is humble yourself before Him and ask Him…but you have to put everything you think you know to be true aside and be willing to hear Him….sir, you have been lied to..find out if what I say is true and be 100% positive for yourself.
BTW, there are many denominations, many religions…Jesus makes it clear what He thought about religions and man made traditions. The site I gave you aswell, gotquestions…you can look it up online and ask questions..it will help you find the verses and describe exactly what they mean, if you struggle with understanding.

Our church taught against belonging to secret loges. I heard a preacher on tv , a long time ago on mansions. You wouldn’t know just starting out with them that they didn’t love the Lord. As least my uncle thought they did. He didn’t go deep into their teachings. This teaching on tv. I can’t think of his name. I don’t think you are to young to remember them. But their teir teachings are unbiblical. Bad teachings. It’s been so long. I can’t remember what they brought out. But I know it was bad. And they knew what they was talking about.

Troy Day again gambling is not something I do. It is not something I encourage… f or somebof the same reasons listed.

But not all gambling fits the categories described in that. Nor does someone gambling prove they are greedy. Some men play cards for social reasons. If thry gamble for pennies the financial effects may be non-material. Charity raffles do not fit tge description.

I have never heard of Pentecostals opposing participating in sweepstakes because ofe unearned money. These are like the lottery, but without buying a ticket.

If you pay an extra two bucks over what you’d planned to play McDs monopoly and a chance to win french fires, ive cream or $10 million dollars, are you sinning? Think of the markup on all those people’s burgers.

I believe that even a born again Christian can be possessed by demons. A free mason is nothing more than a group of religious man that want to follow religion and not God’s Word. There is no secret handshakes, “can’t talk about what is discussed in a meeting” or a vetting process that is needed in a Godly, Born Again, Bible Believing and Bible Following Church.

Why is the star of ester upside down? Why do you have to “earn” levels to show your works in the masonry?

God just says, “Follow Me”. He doesn’t say, “ You must first do 1,2,3 before I will acknowledge you.”

I don’t believe that a Christian that is actually following Gods Word and Living it out can be a freeman nor support abortion at all for that matter.

Daniel Straasburg Daniel J Hesse Daniel Denmark our friends William DeArteaga Isara Mo Joseph D. Absher have long answered the question Can a MASON deliver himself of demons? The question is often asked of me, “Can a person deliver himself of demons?” My answer is “Yes”, and it is my conviction that a person cannot really keep himself free of demons until he is walking in this dimension of deliverance. How is it that a person can deliver himself? As a believer (and that is our assumption) he has the same authority as the believer that is moving in deliverance ministry. He has the authority of the name of Jesus! And Jesus plainly promised them that believe: “In my name shall they cast out devils.” (Mark 16:17) Usually a person needs only to learn how to go about self-deliverance. After a person has experienced an initial deliverance at the hands of an experienced minister he can begin to practice self-deliverance. https://www.pentecostaltheology.com/can-a-person-deliver-himself-of-demons/

No, I believe the Masons are satanic and dark.
We can’t sit at the table of God and Satan.
    It’s one or the other.
    1 Corinthians 10:21.
I would have no part of the Masons
Charles Russell founder of the early Jehovah’s Witnesses, is alleged to have been a freemason, look at the state of that Religion, blasphemous, antichrists.
