BE STRONG IN THE LORD –
THE ENEMY IS DEFEATED – Ray E Horton

The devil really is stirring up lots of evil these days in the world around us. Many of us have noticed increased attacks in our lives as well.

Devil’s lies work if believed

We must never forget – light drives out darkness – we have the victory. If we give in to the enemy’s tactic – lies that cause fear – we won’t stand in faith to experience victory

He is a defeated foe – defeated at the cross. All he has left in his arsenal are lies and deceit and accusation, to cause confusion, fear and hinder the work of the Lord and His people.

His lies can be effective, however, when people believe them, and when they stir up fear, or the intentions of people with evil hearts.

Do not fear the current situation. Remember, there is “no fear in love,” so, we move forward in the love of the Lord.

We do need to stand against the enemy with faith-filled prayer, and use our spiritual authority, speaking God’s Word of truth and light.

Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might… having done all, stand” (Eph. 6:10,13).

The enemy is not a happy camper, considering the Great Awakening that is breaking loose in these end times. The enemy is using diversionary tactics.

We must never forget – light drives out darkness – we have the victory. If we give in to the enemy’s tactic – lies that cause fear – we won’t stand in faith to experience victory.

Stand Strong in the Lord

Let us stand strong in the Lord. It is time to be proactive in prayer. Remember, we are the church, and “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18) as we take the battle to the enemy, using our spiritual authority, backed up by the Blood of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit.

Our spiritual battle is simply a sideshow which we do in passing as we keep our focus on Jesus, not diverted from His Kingdom advance in our midst to bring in the great harvest.
