Thanks for the post. I have some general impressions before getting to the greek details. First off its quite new to be criticized in detail and much more needs to be done in the text.
Second, who made it? It is hard to surf their website to the actual team of people who did it. Did they have the proper education and so on. There is a fb group to connect with them but its closed.
Then, who has recognized it? Is it in any major Bible softwares so far?
“Modern Literal Version” plans to be ERROR-FREE but I am reading through their website over and over and still cant figure if they used TR or NA/UBS
So lets start there – who made it and from what koine greek source ?

This is what I found copyright 1999, 2014 by G. Allen Walker for the MLV New Testament Committee. It is also self published so far because Amazon or Lulu Publishers limits them to 728 pages

Well if it even matter what they say Why the Byzantine Majority Text? They obviously followed Textus Receptus. The only question is which one of the many Textus receptuses out there. So enough said – it will never be accepted as a scholarly translation in my opinion

In 2017, it was decided to review the MLV all the way through to make sure the Greek translation was correct and make sure nothing had
been overlooked. Much to our surprise (and disappointment) we had missed translating multiple words; we had made ‘shorter is better’ mistakes
ourselves. – I would like to know what were these 2 places and then we can look into other critical cases and how they dealt with them. I see they butchered Mk 16 already Am I reading correctly on their website they will never publish their Greek references or are there Greek footnotes in the printed edition?

The Modern English Version (MEV) is an English translation of the Bible begun in 2005 and completed in 2014. The work was edited by James F. Linzey, and is an update of the King James Version (KJV), re-translated from the Masoretic Text and the Textus Receptus. The fact that KJV was used and updated or revised was good. But using TR AGAIN can only lead to more errors. What did the KJV translators missed so Linzey and plead others have had to revise KJV so many multiple times? And which TR did he chose – certainly an updated TR and not the original TR the KJV translators used right?
