I am a Pentecostal Pastor and I have worn a beard (either a goatee or a full beard) for nearly my entire 26 years in ministry. It is amazing that hundreds and even thousands of Pentecostals have received my ministry when I was in such blatant sin. Church leaders need to put away the man made extra-biblical rules. The people already have.

I really have never heard about this particular brand of legalism and I’ve had ministers in the CoG and AoG back 4 generations.

I’ve never worn a beard but I have nothing at all against those who do. You will never be able to use scriptures within their context and condemn men for having beards. This is silliness and yes, it’s legalism at its best.
