This year I want to honor Joseph, that patient and wise man who held back his judgement on Mary until the Holy Spirit had time to speak to him. But first the Holy Spirit had to give Joseph time to think through what he knew about Mary so that that both the divine and the human aspects could come together in agreement that what had happened to Mary was special– very special.
