The Word of Faith/NAR teaches that “God” can be manipulated by people’s “positive confessions” to provide whatever the person desires. Their “god” is not the God of the Bible, but an idol, a false god of their own imagination. It is no more a “god” that the pagan idols of Hinduism.

    I think they are critizing seeing God as a genie granting us our hearts desire. The riches we want are not really this world but the one to come. Too much good here and we love this world too much abmbd that is bad.
