The Tribulation, Part I Teaching Session No. V Prophetic Scripture and the Dark Reign of the Antichrist and the Coming Millennial Reign
Text: Matthew 24:3-14 Introduction: The Tribulation has been described as a literal -Hell on Earth”. However, since our understanding of hell is only intellectual and not experiential, it is hard to grasp. Today, 1 would like to try to describe the tribulation period so that we will have knowledge of an event that will change the world.
What are the Scriptural Signs of the Coming Tribulation? a. We can see the signs in Matthew 24:4-44; Mark 13:2-23; Luke 21:5-28. It will be a time of International wars as in Matthew 24:6&7, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars.• see that ye be not troubled: For all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. V7 For elation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” There will be kingdom against kingdom, famines, pestilences and earthquakes as in Matthew 24:7 and Luke 21:10-12, “Then said he unto them, nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. VI 1 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall these be from heaven.” b. Epidemics as in Luke 21:26, “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. c. Unpredictable oceanic events in Luke 21:25, “and there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring:” Worldwide dissemination of the message of Jesus as in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” d. There will be Great Persecution of Christians in Luke 21:12, “But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.” flow Long Will the Tribulation Last? The Answer is Seven Years: a. There will be three and one-half years of peace and building all of which is based on a falsehood, then there will be three and one-half years of hell on earth; Daniel 9:24 and Isaiah 55:4&5, “Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. VS Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee glorified thee.” shall run unto thee because, of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel;for he bath An age old question that is asked is when will the Tribulation start? It will start right after the se weeks Rapture of the church. It is also good to kno treaty with the Antichrist. Daniel 9:2 w that at the same time, Israel will sign a peace b. What does the seventy weeks 7 w or seventy sets of sevens mean? Daniel 9:24-27. Seventy sets of seven 490 years. The first 483 years, or 69 sets of seven, lead up to the crucifixion ofJestis Christ. During the church age, the clock stops. Why? Because the Bible says ‘No man knows when the son of man will appear’. So if the Word of God says that no man knows when the Lord is coming, then it Tribulation that will last seven years. would make no sense not to stop the clock. At the Rapture, then the clock starts again with the c. When does the seventy sets of seven, or 490 years b the temple was given at Daniel’s death in 444 B. C. eEgxlanc.tly 483 years later, or 173,800 days using the 360 day calenda Jesus 9 Daniel 9:25-27 The issue to rebuild Sunday r, esus entered into Jerusalem for His crucifixion.

Yes I have a question, I don’t understand. We are studying in Job 2:2-3. It refers to Luke 10:18. This is the verse in Luke. And He said unto them , I beheld Satan as lightning fall from Heaven. ( the commentary in my Bible is what I wonder about. This is what it says ) ( by the Power Of The Holy Spirit , Jesus saw into the future , observing Satan as he will be cast out of Heaven at the approximate mid- point of the the coming Great Tribulations. )I have neve heard Satan would be cast out at the mid- point of the Great Tribulations. Where is Satan now? I know he’s isn’t in the Third Heaven where God is. But I have Hurd demons was in the second heaven. Well the prince and power of the air. But I guess this got me when it said he would be cast out again. What’s your thoughts. Especially the mid- point of the Great Tribulations. But he brings as many problems as he can. But where is he? I thought he was going to and fro deceiving as many people as he can.
