The Holy Spirit moves among His children regardless of doctrines. He moves indiscriminately according to needs in the body.

Peyton Gurley [09/21/2015 10:55 AM]
He also moves amongst sinners without regard. He responds to worship, so just because He is responding to someone doesn’t mean He approves of their doctrine and/or lifestyle.

Charles Page [09/21/2015 10:58 AM]
The only move he makes among the unregenerate is to regenerate them freely without conditions.

Who holds doctrines and has a lifestyle pleasing to God???

Peyton Gurley [09/21/2015 11:03 AM]
Apostolic Pentecostals

John Kissinger [09/21/2015 11:28 AM]
well, Holy Ghost does move among sinners with conviction as well

Charles Page [09/21/2015 11:38 AM]
how can an unregenerate experience true godly sorrow? He is dead – first he needs regeneration.

Conviction is not part of the ministry of the gifts of the Spirit in the body. edification, comfort and exhortation and no evangelistic moves. conviction and correction are parts of the pastor/teaching ministry.

When someone tries to interject teaching and correction into the operation of the gifts it ends in confusion.

John Kissinger [09/21/2015 11:39 AM]
the Holy Spirit hooks them with sorrow and self regret

Charles Page [09/21/2015 11:44 AM]
do you use “meat hooks” on living people? The unregenerate are dead and need regenerated life.

Brian Roden [09/21/2015 11:54 AM]
So are we getting into the ordo salutis debate? Prevenient grace vs. irresistible grace?

Peyton Gurley [09/21/2015 11:55 AM]
So many titles. I love how theologians/Bible students label everything.

John Kissinger [09/21/2015 11:59 AM]
Charles Jesus spoke to dead Lazarus – did not use hooks. The Holy Spirit invites the sinner to life eternal…

Peyton Gurley [09/21/2015 12:01 PM]
Jesus stands at the door and knocks. Jesus is the Holy Ghost.

Charles Page [09/21/2015 12:01 PM]
Lazarus was regenerate, he needed resurrection

Charles Page [09/21/2015 12:04 PM]
The gifts of the Spirit operate in oneness and trinitarian Christian assemblies.

Peyton Gurley [09/21/2015 12:05 PM]
That’s proof that He’s no respecter of persons

John Kissinger [09/21/2015 12:05 PM]
The distinction is obvious:

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.” (John 15:26).

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (John 14:26).

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth…He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.” (John 16:13-14).

Peyton Gurley [09/21/2015 12:08 PM]
I will not leave you comfortless: I’ve will come to you.
John 14:18

John Kissinger [09/21/2015 12:09 PM]
physically in the not very distant feature of the Millennium…

Peyton Gurley [09/21/2015 12:09 PM]
Lol

John Kissinger [09/21/2015 12:10 PM]
If Christ is not physically present there’s pretty much no point in the Millennium

Charles Page [09/21/2015 12:11 PM]
The Holy Spirit moves indiscriminately in pre, post and A-mill assemblies.

Charles Page [09/21/2015 12:13 PM]
The Holy Spirit moves whether his children are gay or straight!

Charles Page [09/21/2015 12:13 PM]
as long as they are His children.
