Should ministry conferences charge or be free?

Roger David [09/03/2015 5:34 PM]
Ministry conferences should be free or not happen at all.

In fact..let’s shut down all ministry conferences for 1 year and just start open air preaching instead.

I would not mind that at all. I am done with the conference ghetto.

Another completely irrelevant topic – should Bible be sold or given for free? Is salvation free? Only people on the receiving end have the luxury to ask if something should be free or not. The people who give know that there’s always a price that must be paid…

Most bible publishers are owned by lesbains groups!

You can do the tracking of the major publishers for yourself but you will find interesting shareholders 🙂

John Kissinger [09/04/2015 11:16 PM]
most? – there you go again. Most Bible publishers are not in the US and do not subscribe to “most” pluralism standard requirements

Peter A Vandever [09/04/2015 11:18 PM]
I am talking about the big companies like Thomas Nelson. Bible publishing is big business.

There are only two types of people in the church today – people who give and people who receive. If you don’t give more than you receive, you receive more than you give. Which type are you?

Roger David [09/05/2015 12:29 AM]
I give way more than I receive. The issue is not the giving but the turning His church into a marketplace.

John Kissinger [09/05/2015 7:29 AM]
so lets say you give 4 but you receive only 2, where do you get the other 2 from? #SimpleMath

Roger David [09/05/2015 8:58 AM]
???????? …. Are you one who receives more than you give then?

Roger David [09/05/2015 8:59 AM]
Would that thought process not mean there is only 1 type of person in the church?
