Matthew 10:28; “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”

The fear in this verse refers not to the terrifying trembling type but a fear of respect. Only one is able to destroy both body and soul, and that is He who is the Creator, our Heavenly Father. (ESV – all emphasis mine)

Even though God could be a type of creator that monster movies were based on, He is actually a fully loving Heavenly Father who has proven He will do just about anything to care for all His creation. He even allowed a special part of Himself to come to this earth in the form of a human so there would be a perfect and acceptable way for all of us sin-filled humans to be able to choose a pathway that leads to eternal life with Him.

Hebrews 7:26-27; “For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a High Priest; Holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. He has no need like those high priests to offer sacrifices daily, first for their own sins, and then for those of the people, since He did this once for all when He offered up Himself.”

Jesus was the most perfect sinless sacrifice, as He did not have tainted human blood, and while on this earth, He never committed even one sin.

1 John 3:5 & 8; “You know that He appeared in order to take away sins, and in Him is no sin…. Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.”

John 3:36 is a verse that contains the same message as several other passages. As said before, when God says something, we need to pay attention. When something is repeated, we definitely need to take notice.

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

A simple statement to sum this up would be, ‘Know Son, Know Father; No Son, No Father!’ There are no other ways to the Father except through Jesus.

John 14:6; “And Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”

For anyone to say there are many ways to the Father, they are literally saying Jesus is a liar, and I would not wish to be in their shoes at the Great White Throne Judgment. I believe there will be special punishments for all false prophets and antichrists.

During this day and age, we are almost through the generation that saw the “buddling of the Fig Tree.” That was May 14, 1948, when Israel became a sovereign nation after almost 2,000 years. Such a small nation that was immediately attacked from all sides by surrounding countries, yet they survived. There have been several major campaigns against Israel since then, yet Israel is stronger and wealthier than ever. Anyone who does not see the Power of God at work here is blind. There is a major battle that will yet take place and is known as the Ezekiel 38 war. The players are forming for that conflict for the first time ever, and the sabers are rattling right now.

Satan has done all he can to destroy this small country, and during the tribulation, the antichrist will take special aim at God’s chosen people. Zechariah 13:8 tells us that two-thirds of the people will be killed. The one-third that remains will declare that the Lord is their God. All will be believers. They will be the ones that will see Jesus return to shut down the tribulation and reign on earth for 1,000 years.

There has been persecution of Christians from the beginning, and we will be persecuted until removed by the Rapture. Times are getting more and more serious for believers, or as the secular world calls us – haters. Now is the time to be a valuable part of the Shepherd’s flock. The world may kill the body, which is happening in several places around the world; however, as Paul stated in Philippians 1:21, “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

When a believer takes their last breath here, their next one will be with Jesus. So, even with all the turmoil, hate, and murder here, we are still “Safe in the Arms of Jesus.” This just happens to be the title of a song written by Miss Fanny Crosby in 1868. It is a testimony that as long as we have Jesus in our hearts, nothing else on this earth matters.

1.) Safe in the arms of Jesus; safe on His gentle breast. There by His love o’er shaded, sweetly my soul shall rest. Hark! Tis the voice of angels, borne in a song to me. Over the fields of glory, over the Jasper Sea.

Ref.) Safe in the arms of Jesus; safe on His gentle breast. There by His love o’er shaded, sweetly my soul shall rest.

2.) Safe in the arms of Jesus; safe from corroding care. Safe from the world’s temptations, sin cannot harm me there. Free from the blight of sorrow; free from my doubts and fears. Only a few more trials; only a few more tears.

3.) Jesus, my heart’s dear refuge; Jesus has died for me. Firm on the Rock of Ages, ever my trust shall be. Here let me wait with patience; wait till the night is o’er. Wait till I see the morning break on the Golden Shore.

No matter what Satan and his demons try to convince us of, there is nothing or no one that could ever come close to matching the love we have from our Savior. He didn’t have to die for us, but He did so willingly (John 10:18). He could have stopped the proceedings at any moment, but He endured to the very end. No one has ever loved us the way our Trinity has – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Is it any wonder that if we receive and accept the free gift Jesus provided at Calvary, the Father will love and accept us to be with Him forever? By the way, it is a free gift through the grace of our Savior and the mercy of the Father (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Also, is it any wonder that any and all that refuse to receive and accept Jesus as their Savior will be assigned a place in that long line at the Great White Throne Judgment by the Father? They will be shown exactly why they are there, and there will be no forgiveness or pardons issued. All will be cast into the lake of fire for their own personal eternal punishment.

Remember these words: “All who call on the Name of the Lord will be saved.” That does not mean special secret incantations; no set amount of works to be done; no special donations to be made. When God says, “free gift,” He means it’s totally been paid for in full by the pure, sinless blood of His Son, Jesus the Christ.

Just by seeing how much Bible prophecy has been recently fulfilled, it should tell us this present age is rapidly approaching the end, and the 7-year tribulation will start soon. The Rapture is the next major event, and only those who have already received and accepted the Savior will be taken up. Once it starts, it will be too late to call out, as it will be over in “a moment, in the twinkling of an eye” (1 Corinthians 15:52). Right now would not be too early to make your reservation. Jesus will accept all who truly call out to Him, and He will force no one to do so.

Your Eternity – Your Choice. Please choose wisely!
