Was there a Philistine, Canaanite, Summarian, or Ugaritic equivalent for the Roman Threshold-god, Limentinus, that could have been associated with or given a different significance to the passage of 1 Samuel 5:5?

But the following morning when they rose, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! No I will not because I’ll be Raptured. Everyone “left behind” will be killed if they refuse the mark – unless they get used to eating leaves and roots in the forest. But by then the “killer drones” will be used to hunt them down….so even that might not work out.
