Thinking

There are a few different kinds of Christian homes that really work on teaching and discipleship. Helping men and women get free and rebuild their lives. Jesus reconciles us to God first.
Here in San Francisco Teen challenge is pretty much the last. There are a few. But most have moved out of the city.
Discipleship is really where the action is. When men hunger for Christ and righteousness that is by faith in him.
Discipleship means lots of time, being available and no masks. Of course that means lots of prayers for grace and wisdom. Its a sacrifice of love. It is sowing and watering and trusting God for the increase. Helping men grow in the things of God. Its a heavenly service as unto the Lord in faith and patience with rejoicing. Happy to do it in Jesus name. But beware expecting to much to soon. People need room to grow in God and victory and faith and grace. Nobody gets it the first week or year even. Trust God don’t be scared to let your guard down and let God heal you when you get hurt…

Just thinking about some Christian friends spiritual condition. The heady intellectuals that want learning and knowledge but back away from the searchings of the heart

A new way of thinking is important. In Christ there are great exchanges. Grace and peace for despair and loss. light for darkness, faith that draws us near to God and from aimless wandering.
Knowledge is import. A new belief system and truth our foundation. We need a change of mind. But you can believe all the right things and still go to hell. You can change your mind and still go to hell. Repentance unto life is a change of heart. Newness of life begins with a new spirit a new heart and not more learning…
