They got up, DROVE HIM OUT of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, IN ORDER to THROW him OFF the cliff. Reply April 19, 2020 Ray E Horton I don’t think scripture speaks of “applause” at all. I see anything that calls attention to and lifts up the speaker rather than the message as inappropriate. I suppose, in the middle of a message, if people applauded a particular statement, I wouldn’t mind – something so extraordinary by way of revelation that “Amen” would be inadequate.
