YOU ARE SONS OF GOD –
MANIFEST CHRIST WITHIN YOU – Ray E Horton

Sons of God:You are all sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:26). “The eager expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Rom. 8:19).

We are called sons of God. Yet have we manifested that to where all creation can see Him in us? Is there something more? “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God” (Rom. 8:14)

Be Spirit-Led

As sons of God, we will be manifested to the world when we are “led by the Spirit of God”

As sons of God, we will be manifested to the world when we are “led by the Spirit of God.” Let that be our goal, our desire, to let go of our ways, the ways of the flesh, the worlds ways, and be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

All of creation is eagerly anticipating the time when God’s glory within us will be revealed. That will not happen completely until the Lord’s return. But I bet creation does rejoice each time we show forth His glory, because each time we are a little closer to the truth that “creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of God” (Rom. 8:21).

Surrender to the Lord’s ways

As we surrender to the Lord’s ways and are led by the Spirit, we will be used as sons to follow after the Son and set people free We will awaken the church as we reveal the Good News to the lost, and bring in the harvest. As we participate, led by the Spirit, in the “gospel of the kingdom” being “preached throughout the world,” we will hasten the glorious end (Matt 24:14).

Let us follow the Spirit and be manifested as the sons of God that we are called to be.
