People will not go to heaven to live in houses. After the millennium New Jerusalem comes down here for us to live in. It is about 1500 miles square if you can wrap your head around that.

Find a book at a library written by someone who has been to Heaven and returned. Jesse Duplantis and Mary K Baxter are two people I know that haven. They described everything. All that have written such are in agreement. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading their stories. You will too.

They describe Jesus…Paul….Peter…. David etc. It does not show God’s face. Tells how they they drink water of life…Heavens beauty… no darkness ever…everyone has a mansion….no sickness…how you recognize your love ones…how everyone has everything they have ever wanted. God knows your every wish. Jesus tells you why He allows you to come to Heaven but must return to earth. He wants you to tell everyone what you saw and that it is real. Oh and they describe the mode of transportation and how they are dressed.

There is a house in Heaven called the Fathers house which is the holy temple.

John 14:2 ~ “In my Father’s house are many rooms..”

It’s probably made with the same materials the earthly temples were. I dont recall scripture mentioning any other houses.

We have spiritual bodies…but Jesus said John 14:2–3 (ESV): In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be als

The Houses are our New Glorified Flesh. We will live in a Mansion (a glorified body) much better than this corruptible tent we live in now.

2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 5:3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5:5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

There are houses in heaven. God is holding them. They are made of gold. Yes people will go to heaven and occupy them. It is God that will decide. So your duty is to surrender to him.Accept Christ Jesus into your life as your personal Lord and saviour. That’s when you will have right in his kingdom.

Oh and this is the approximate size it will be on earth as per Revelation 21.

    Revelation 21 (NKJV)
21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, [a]John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [b]to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

6 And He said to me, “It[c] is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes [d]shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, [e]unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

    The New Jerusalem
9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came [f]to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the [g]bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the [h]great city, the [i]holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.

14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the [j]names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. 16 The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand [k]furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. 17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. 18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

The Glory of the New Jerusalem
22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine [l]in it, for the [m]glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations [n]of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor [o]into it. 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into [p]it. 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything [q]that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Nobody can actually answer any of those questions. Jesus said In my fathers house there are many mansions but that does not necessarily mean houses, It means dwellings made without hands. I believe he meant our heavenly bodies aka abodes for our spirits.

There are NO houses in Heaven except what are New bodies that come from heaven to the ones raised from the dead. 2 Corinthians 5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
The word Mansions is a misinterpretation or mistranslatation of the word Abide or staying. The word only appears twice in all the NT and is translated properly only a few verses later. John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our “abode” with him. This is referring to the Christ going to the cross to die and in so making an abiding place for us in the Kingdom of God and a place for God to indwell us. Christ referred to the fact that he had already told them where he had to go and how it would happen and HOW LONG HE WOULD BE GONE – THREE DAYS.

The entire city is made of gold and decorated with precious stones. The streets too are made of gold, and there are many mansions there.

That city will come down on the new Earth, after this Universe and Earth (heaven and Earth) pass away, in a firery explosion, and melt and dissolve, in fervent heat (2 Pet. 3:10), and be no more (Isa. 65:17). There, not here, is where the saved will spend eternity.

I don’t think there’s anything “material” because I don’t think heaven is a literal place
