Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but ON EVERY WORD that comes from the mouth of God.'” (Matt. 4:4) [Listen to what the mouth of the Lord is saying!] “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to LOOSE THE CHAINS OF INJUSTICE and UNTIE THE CORDS OF THE YOKE, to SET THE OPPRESSED FREE and BREAK EVERY YOKE? (Isaiah 58:6) [It is not so unusual for un-humbled hearts to be proud of their claims of humility, as the Pharisee said: “I fast twice in the week.” They thought God should take notice of them, and become indebted to them for their services! What we are in need of is a MIGHTY and MIRACULOUS move of God! The true reason why God did not accept their fasting, nor answer the prayers they made on their fast-days; it was because they did not fast correctly! In order for us to move God, our hearts must be right before God; we must make sure we are loose of anything that would cause unbelief in us!] “Then YOUR LIGHT WILL BREAK FORTH LIKE THE DAWN, and YOUR HEALING WILL QUICKLY APPEAR; then YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS WILL GO BEFORE YOU, and THE GLORY OF THE LORD WILL BE YOUR REAR GUARD. Then you will call, and THE LORD WILL ANSWER…” (Isaiah 58:8, 9)

skipping meals or even days without food and drinking coffee is not a true biblical fast. But I have done it. Obviously with or without water is better. I think the detox is 3 days no sugar no caffeine etc.
I don’t think Esther or Daniel or Paul had a morning coffee. Of course they didn’t have “Pentecostal Theology” or Google either.
