[This is what should motivate us; doing the will of our Abba Father, as Jesus taught us to pray: “Thy kingdom come, THY WILL BE DONE!”] “Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, EQUIP YOU WITH EVERYTHING GOOD FOR DOING HIS WILL, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever.” (Heb. 13:20-21) [Jesus was sitting among a crowd of people, and one of them said:] “Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.” “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! WHOEVER DOES GOD’S WILL is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mark 3:32-35) [What will it take for us to REALLY KNOW FOR CERTAIN that what we are doing is pleasing to our Abba Father?] “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to OFFER YOUR BODIES AS A LIVING SACRIFICE, holy and pleasing to God–THIS IS YOUR TRUE AND PROPER WORSHIP. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–HIS GOOD, PLEASING AND PERFECT WILL.” (Rom. 12:1-2) [“Transformed” comes from the word “metamorphosed”, transfigured, appear as new persons, and with new habits, as God has given us a new form of worship, so that we serve in the newness of the spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. The word implies a radical, thorough, and universal change, both outward and inward, something that can only be done by divine intervention, we are truly a NEW creation in Christ!] “All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that HE MAY LIFT YOU UP IN DUE TIME. Cast ALL YOUR ANXIETY on him because HE CARES FOR YOU.” (1 Pet. 5:5-7) [God “opposes” the proud, the word “opposes” means to “stand against” or “to do battle with” doing battle with the Lord God Almighty would not be a wise choice!]

Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that HE WILL LIFT YOU AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME!
