Does any pre-tribber believe we go to heaven to be with Jesus forever after the rapture?
I heard that in a news clip on NT Wright. It said a popular belief was that Christians would be raptured and go to heaven forever to be with Jesus. I never heard anyone teach that. As far as I know, pre-tribbers are premilineal, and they believe Jesus is coming back for the saints for 1000 years, followed by the Great White Throne Judgement, the New Heaven and the New Earth and the New Jerusalem.
Has anyone ever read of an eschatological author that taught that the saints will be raptured and be with Jesus forever in heaven after that?

I don’t think any theological writers say that, but the rank-and-file dispensationalist who just kind of goes with the church flow but doesn’t study much can sometimes sound that way.

This reminds me a bit about the artical about tge passing of Oral Roberts on The Economist website. The author seemed to think Oral Roberts was confused because he believed he was going to heaven hut hope God might give him a role ruling Tulsa some day. I believe the author was a religion correspondant bit apparently had no clue about premil.

Ive never heard that in my Christian life or ministry. As far as pre-trib they’re universally pre-mil as well and teach we’re to come back with Jesus Christ to rule during the 1000 years with Christ.
