The live-action remake of “Beauty and the Beast” starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens is set to make Disney history with its first “exclusively gay moment” on the big screen. Director Bill Condon told Britain’s Attitude magazine that he portrayed the humble sidekick Le Fou, played by Josh Gad, as confused about his feelings toward the film’s macho antagonist, Gaston, played by Luke Evans.

Thanks, Brother Jimmy Humphrey. I agree with you. I think it is a poor witness for Christ when we as Christians show and in mature negative attitude about sin.
It is okay to calmly and in a mature manner communicate the fact that Disney or any other organization is promoting such sin. We need to be aware of the method of the devil. We should inform one another about his sneaky methods. However, as you so clearly stated. We need to be mature as we do so.

Dan Irving, Brother Jimmy Humphrey, is basically stating that we as Christians need to becareful how we express our concerns. We should understand that Sinners will commit sin. That is what makes them sinners. He explains that if we show a bad attitude because Sinners are committing a sin then that is not a good representation of being mature. Most importantly, that is not a good representation of the love of Christ.

Timothy Carter I sense a disconnect between Mr. Humphrey’s perspective in the matter, and the force and tenor of scripture. Because we are “adults” and “in the minority with what we believe” we should “show good decorum and manners?” Certainly, it would not be godly to “engage people in a hateful, pissed-off attitude.” While that may be a practice for some, the much greater malady in the Church, I do believe, is the very opposite; a complacence with the world and its works. At 3:30 he seems to roll his eyes at the principle of righteous indignation and “taking a bold stand for truth.” Yes, “The anger of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” But I don’t believe James’ context was a gentle attitude toward purveying homosexual messages to children. While I’m sure there is some technical validity to what he says; just get ready for the dead religion lacking the power of the Cross, which these sentiments are bound to produce.
