We are to pray to GOD. Taught to us by JESUS.
I would guess this to be the main reason prayers don’t get answered. JESUS is the priest between us and YHVH.

People should know who the Almighty is. He doesn’t take kindly to gods put before him. He said no gods beside him. JESUS is the son of GOD sent from heaven by GOD to do his will.
