Shane Bellamy again this a a discussion question that we have discussed before and you can read how it was nicely explain by Gary Micheal Epping Pete Fiske and many others who participated but one thing is PLAIN sure
The pre-Adamic race GAP theory explains it all:
Where lost souls come from?
Where the demons come from?
When did Satan fall from the Heavens?
How did 1/3 of the angels fall with Satan?
Why do the Bible tells us TWO creation stories?
Why was earth created staples and void (this brings to perspective flat earth vs a globe as well)?
Why do the Bible tells us TWO flood narratives?
Age of earth?
The disappearing of the dinosaurs and why where no dinosaurs in Noah’s ark?
The whole doctrine of Original sin and its coming into man’s flesh?
Just try to explain the above without pre-Adamic race GAP theory and you will see for yourself…
Question for those who do not belief in gap theory. When do you say dinosaurs lived? Also about light from stars etc? Was the light created in transit?

Please tell me this. If there is no sun even created yet, why would a day be 24 hours? I don’t understand the necessity of rigid literalism when there are 2 narratives and one can easily see the days as a poetic representation of the creation so that God may reveal his truth to a people who were not developed in their understanding of natural science.

I believe Adam and Eve were true human people, created by God and historical, but I don’t think the narratives demand a rigidly literal reading either.
