Just guessing/what makes sense to me:
False prophets are self explanatory, anyone who professes to know the path to life/the way to live life and claims it to others leading them astray.
The beast is usually representative of the corrupt nations who put their own strength as an idol before God or similar self glorification.
The dragon represents too much chaos. (Reoccurring theme through Western texts e.g. king George and the dragon etc)

1. The Biblical Texts That Speak About The Origin Of Evil Are Very Few And Brief. The dragon is the imperial system of Rome that persecuted the early church and when these pagans couldn’t stop the church they legalized it , joined it, and corrupted it. The beast is the papal seat or Roman Catholic Church who not only absorbed pagan idolatry but are out to silence the preaching of the gospel and lock the scripture in Latin tongue so no common people could come to know Jesus. The false prophets are teachers of this system who set out with their false teaching to control the church that had fallen away from the truth. During the reign of this beast upon the earth all prophecies concerning the beast , anti Christ, false Christ etc..were fulfilled. Abstinence from marriage, changing the dates and times like the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, destroying the holy people, ruling the world, sitting in the temple as if he is God ( the capital of the church became Rome and the pope claimed to be the new Christ for each generation), abstaining from meats etc… This system was allotted a length of time to rule on the earth . These periods of time are given in months and years. Using a biblical key for unlocking the mysteries called a day for a year principal. This principal or key is used in several places in prophecy , it applies here as well. These times bring us up to the end of the dark ages and the complete control of the papacy over the affairs of men. Scripture says at the end of the beast reign that men will hate the whore of Babylon (pagan Christianity) and burn her with fire, this is exactly what happened during the time of the reformations. After a while these crumbling powers would release three frogs upon the earth. Frogs represent evil spirits but also like most metaphors in scripture it points to a specific event or person. Hitler came out of Catholicism, Tojo came out of the imperial system, Mussolini came out of the false prophet system of Italy where men had been trained for years in the doctrine of Devils then released in the earth. Three frogs from three systems one third of the earth or men died during the battles that ensued fulfilling prophecy to a T.
