For everyone’s information, here are some of Perry Stone’s poor theology directly from their website: “WE BELIEVE that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is promised to all believers. The promise of a Spirit-filled life includes a prayer language (speaking in other tongues), the power to be a witness, an anointing to serve God, and operation in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that divine healing and deliverance are provided through the blood of Jesus Christ, and that the prayer of faith will heal the sick.”

so what are you saying – is The Holy Spirit not in the BIBLE? Do you not believe in the Holy Spirit ?

Calm down, I’m not saying that the Holy Spirit isn’t real. If you read the Bible, there is no promise that you will speak in tongues once you become a Christian and a “baptism of the Spirit” isn’t promised once you become a Christian. There is also no “operation in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.” Jesus did say we will do greater things, but that means that we will do more things than him as we have had more time to bring the Gospel worldwide (https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/how-do-great-things-jesus/). Also, the blood of Jesus is for our eternal salvation not for temporary healing on this earth.

Joshua Steindl after re-reading your comments WHY are you attacking the person and NOT the apologetic issue @ hand. If this is indeed an apologetic group that respects privacy we should discuss the issue not the person. Why attacking the person and NOT the problem at hand?

I did attack the problem at hand. If someone like Perry Stone has such poor theology in their belief statement, then we shouldn’t be looking to them for spiritual guidance.

Joshua Steindl So you are attacking the man again I believe Perry is in sabbatical now due to sickness. As a Christian I rather pray for him and his speedy recovery instead of attacking him on the internet I have no dog in this fight – you dont like him – oh well, But wouldnt you agree as Christians we should attack the problem and not the person? You cannot just slander someone having poor theology and walk away like a real hero that you may feel you are – obviously IF you watched the video it is not even Perry speaking on it 🙂
