“From which version of the Bible did Jesus quote? Peshita? KJV?
Believe it or not 85% percent answer that Jesus quoted from the King James Version (If it was good for Paul, its good for me 🙂

    Point is, as long as the original meaning is in tact, it does not matter to me which version or modern words are used to communicate That Truth. Even though Jesus may have been (using) the LXX – Septuagint, I believe He was quoting the eternal Word of God as it was uttered throughout history and time as demonstrated in His discourse and interpretation of marriage in the Gospel, the Hebrew and beyond.
    He did have the scribes and doctors of the law in awe at His understanding that was beyond His years and what they thought He should have. Knowledge that predated them and their Scriptures.
    Luke 2:46-47
    And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

    They had scrolls in Jesus day. It was all His Word. The Bible Says men of God Wrote the Word Of God As The Spirit Moved Upon them. So it was His Own Word.
