What pre-trib people don’t seem to know or accept is that the pre-trib view concerning the rapture didn’t start until about the 1850s, prior to that it wasn’t taught. The historical Church teaching, starting with earliest Christians, was that we were going to have to endure the persecution, tribulation, of the Antichrist.

While perhaps not using the word “Rapture” the truth of God’s people being snatched away, along with dead in Christ rising has been taught pretty much since the start of the Church way back in the first couple centuries. Granted, the word “rapture” wasn’t used, but the idea was taught. You may not like it…but there you are…There are at least 10 indicators that it occurs and that it will be Pre-Trib.

This is false. Jesus, Paul, and John taught the pre-tribulation rapture (harpazo) of the Church. The Church was largely premillennial up until the 3rd century (or until Origen and later Augustine). Augustinian eschatology was what the Roman Catholic church adopted and promoted (amillennialism, post-millennialism-later preterism) and this is what the Protestant churches adopted going into and thru the Reformation. It wasn’t until the 1700s, that the Pre-Millennial view, which then further clarified the Pre-Tribulation view, was brought BACK into the forefront through groups like the Plymouth Brethren, who threw away the denominational dogmas and returned to a literal, grammatical, and historical interpretation of the Bible.

The word “rapture” may have been invented then but the Bride being fetched before the indignation is taught in both old and new testaments. A really good one is found in Isaiah 26:19-21.
Verse 19 ~ “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.” <--RESURRECTION Verse 20 ~ "Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: HIDE thyself as it were for a LITTLE MOMENT, UNTIL THE INDIGNATION BE OVERPAST." <--PRE-TRIB RAPTURE Verse 21~ "FOR, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to PUNISH the inhabitants of the EARTH for their INIQUITY: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain." <--TRIBULATION The "little moment" would refer to Daniel's "one week" which is 7 prophetic years. In ancient Jewish wedding customs the bride and bridegroom would remain hidden together inside the bridal chambers for one week. INDIGNATION = anger, rage, wrath In Daniel 11:36, Antichrist "..shall prosper till the INDIGNATION be accomplished". Isaiah says that the Lord's people will be hidden in their chambers UNTIL the wrath is over. In John 14 Messiah tells us that He went back to His Fathers house, the temple, in Heaven to prepare a place. The place He's preparing is the bridal chambers. After He completes His work, He will come for His Bride and take her to these prepared chambers. They will remain hidden in these chambers until after the Tribulation. Revelation 19 describes Messiahs WIFE returning to earth WITH Him. Psalm 27:5 ~ "For in the TIME OF TROUBLE he shall HIDE me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle (temple) shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock." Daniel 12:1 ~ "...and there shall be a TIME OF TROUBLE, such as never was since there was a nation even to the same time: AND AT THAT TIME thy people shall be DELIVERED, everyone that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." Zephaniah 2:3 ~ "Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: IT MAY BE YE SHALL BE HID IN THE DAY OF THE LORD'S ANGER." Revelation 3:10 ~ "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."

The 6th Trumpet or 2nd Woe is The 3.5 year Great Tribulation After the 4th Trumpet we read: Revelation 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
Before the 6th Trumpet or 2nd Woe we read:Revelation 9:12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. 13And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for “to slay the third part of men”.
We read the lenght of this Trumpet or Woe in Revelation 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot “forty and two months”.3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy “a thousand two hundred and threescore days”(3.5 years), clothed in sackcloth. After we read Revelation 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud (Resurrection); and their enemies beheld them.
We then read Revelation 11:14 The second woe (6th Trumpet) is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

And yet the pre-tribulation is written in the pages of the scripture of the New Testament.
Therefore it is not something that just came to be in 1859, but it has always been sitting there right in the scripture since it was written, huh look at God!!
And Jesus knew about it too cause He prophesied it in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and Revelation.
But you just keep telling yourself that it didn’t come to our attention until 1859.
More like it came to the attention of the writers of the scripture sometime between 26 – 29 AD.

It is written, “All who desire to live a godly life will be persecuted”.

Rev 22 New earth & new heaven for all believers ( Gentiles & Jews ).

I believe it wont be until after the man of sin is revealed whom Pope Fransis will embrace with open arms before his translation into the false prophet who descieves the entire world and also convinces millions to take the mark of the beast as good Christians…..No man will be able to buy or sell without that mark….Denying the mark will result in death…beheading will be Capitol punishment during that time denying the mark will cost you your head…be of good cheer reject the mark and live…..taking it makes you a willful citizen of the Beasts empire.
