To me it is a church that waters everything down, both Word and Spirit, so as not to offend or turn off newcomers. I prefer a God-friendly church, peaching the full counsel of God and letting the gifts flow.
If they are truly seeking, that will turn them on, not off, as they, maybe for the first time, experience God in their midst. That’s what happened with me 45 years ago, and I have never looked back since. Experiencing the presence of God corporately spoils a person permanently for anything else. If that turns them off, they just aren’t ready.
I’d rather have a few commited saints who appreciate the move of God, serve willingly, and who bring the Good News to those in their circle of influence between services, than a church full of pew-sitters doing their supposed duty.

Troy Day great question lol. I take off several Sundays a year for vacations but I still attend church while away. When I’m out of town which I am regularly I will attend a bible class or special service during a week day. I’ve noticed many hints such as a well known secular song as the first or second song sung during the service, handouts of the sermon handed out our placed in a small bulletin, offering receptacles in the back of the Sanctuary where giving is done as you leave the building with no emphasis and visitors are told they don’t need to worry about giving. Shorter praise and worship times, very little to no altar appeal. Free visitor gifts that have nothing to do with church or spirituality. These are a few…
