The idea of renewal examines numerous theological approaches. Kingdom-now, charismatic, classical Pentecostalism are just some of many. In the area of history, the roots of Pentecostal and charismatic movements are examined from a variety of global sources. Regent (in my experience) does not advance any particular theological agenda but emphasizes the role of pneumatology in renewal movements past and present. I’m not sure ORU has its PhD program up and running just yet. Have you considered schools across the pond??

Bible College? That is about the only place a degree makes any difference
is hardly true. The very idea of Bible college was clustered and halted in the 90s It just did not work any-longer BCs closed left and right Liberal Arts schools prospered But one dont just teach with a degree Any preacher should seek to be well educated to preach

Agreed Troy. My point was to his question. He wanted a very “low cost” possibility. If he is seeking to attain the MDiv for the purpose of teaching in a Bible College/Seminary/ Chaplain for military or corrections/ hospital, etc, the strength of the degree Can make a difference.

Ron Hamm there is no LOW cost MDiv in my opinion My mDiv came at a very high cost – assigned almost 120hrs almost as much as a BA + thesis + CPE Low cost degrees usually come from degree mills Want education? – get a good one

I’m very happy for you and I can see you are proud of it. However, that is not achievable for everyone. How nice it would be. Sadly a degree of any sort does not account for the opinions of men.
