Literally, the heavens represent the glory of our awesome God. A first view of the starry heavens smites the beholder with amazement at the power by which they were made, and how wonderfully they are supported!

“The heavens declare the GLORY OF GOD; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psa. 19:1) [Each day is represented as teaching A NEW EXCELLENCE discovered in these countless works of God. The nights also, are represented as GIVING INFORMATION TO EACH OTHER of the growth of knowledge already gained by what our Abba Father does with each new day!] “Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet THEIR VOICE GOES OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.” (Psa. 19:2-4) [Paul says about the glorious creation:] “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world ARE CLEARLY SEEN, being understood by the things that are made, EVEN HIS ETERNAL POWER AND GODHEAD…” (Rom. 1:20) [The all-powerful energy that has always been, and will always be; ever since creation has been recorded, there have been intelligent beings to observe and write about the glory of God! Now listen as David describes the wonderful Word of God.] “The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. THE COMMANDS OF THE LORD ARE RADIANT, GIVING LIGHT TO THE EYES. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is GREAT REWARD.” (Psa. 19:7-11)

Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that THE WORD OF THE LORD IS PERFECT!
