While what this person is saying has some validity and is a heartfelt position for this person, it was done out of order …. do everything decently and in order.
If he is a pastor, how would this type of outburst been handled in the midst of his service?
Again, this gives people, society, and the media to ridicule and deride Christianity.

Every time I see a parenthetical note in an ancient text, I feel like it was a later addition from a scribe.

Does our oldest manuscripts contain that part of the verse? Even it does, is there any reason to believe that it was a later addition?
